Camera-based measurement of relative image contrast in projection displays

International audience; This research investigated the measured contrast of projection displays based on pictures taken by un-calibrated digital cameras under typical viewing conditions. A high-end radiometer was employed as a reference to the physical response of projection luminance. Checkerboard, gray scale and color complex test images with a range of the projector's brightness and contrast settings were projected. Two local and two global contrast metrics were evaluated on the acquired pictures. International audience; Purpose: : Dry eye syndrome is due to tear secretion deficiency or excessive tear evaporation leading to tear film instability. The aim of this study was to evaluate the time course of inflammation and apoptosis in a scopolamine–induced dry eye rat model. Methods: : Osmotic pumps continuously delivering scopolamine (12.5mg/d) were implanted subcutaneously in female Lewis rats for 1, 2, 3, 7, 10, 17 and 28 days. During the treatment, the corneal status was assessed by fluorescein impregnation and tears were collected for prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) immunoassay. Bērns 2-3 gadu vecumā ir ļoti atkarīgs no vecākiem, nepieciešams atbalsts, dalība. Pedagogam bērnudārzā ir nozīmīga loma bērnu adaptācijas veicināšanā. Teorijā tiek skatīti tādi jautājumi, kā bērna vecumposma, attīstības raksturlielumu saistība ar adaptācijas ilgumu. Kvalifikācijas darba mērķis: empīriski izpētīt ģimenes un pirmsskolas sadarbības iespējas 2-3 gadus vecu bērnu sociālās adaptēšanās sekmēšanā pirmsskolas izglītības iestādē. Iegūtie rezultāti liecina, ka lielākās problēmas sadarbībā starp skolotājiem un vecākiem bērnu adaptācijas bērnudārzā sekmēšanā – nepietiekamās zināšanas, informācija netiek saņemta savlaicīgi, paļaušanās uz intuīciju, radu ieteikumiem. Three artists in exile focuses on the historical diaspora provoked by the Spanish civil war (1936- 1939), and how it influenced three prominent figures of the cultural scene of that period: the writer and typographer Max Aub Mohrenwitz (Paris, 1903-Ciudad de Mexico, 1972); the architect Félix Candela Outeriño (Madrid, 1910-Raleigh, US, 1977); and the artist Josep Renau Berenguer (Valencia, 1907-Berlín, 1982).
