Alteraciones de la Conducta Alimentaria en Pacientes con Trastorno por Abuso de Sustancias

2018

Psychiatric eating disorders (ED) and substance use disorder (SUD) are frequent comorbidities and negatively affect evaluation, treatment, and prognosis of both pathologies. The aim of the present study was to determine the prevalence of eating disorders amongst patients seeking treatment for SUD, mainly alcohol, cocaine, and cannabis, and the modulating role of impulsivity and the presence of the eating restriction disorder. We employed the following evaluation instruments: the Barratt impulsivity scale, the eating disorder inventory (EDI), and the Valencia Addiction to Eating Restriction Questionnaire (CVAR). The results showed that patients with a SUD had higher levels of impulsivity and…

Alterations in eating behavior in patients with substance abuse disorders

2018

In current global crisis the strong flows of financial social and relational capitals that powered urban regeneration over the last fifteen years are no longer available to be tapped in an indiscriminate manner as was the case until just a few years ago. The most dynamic cities in the future will no longer be those that are able to attract urban projects and investors driven by the real estate market or leisure-based development but the cities that have deep and different cultural resources and that are able to use them as the basis for creating new urban cultures and for generating new economic values. Revitalising waterfront is no longer easy opportunity for long-term investments or for using the financial capital gains of corporation or hedge funds but a more creative-driven port city has to provide precious opportunities for real development – not only quantitative but more and more qualitative – that is able to produce effects in both the domain of collective assets and that of private capitals.Settore ICAR/21 - Urbanistica

In situ study of the sintering of a lead phosphovanadate in an Environmental Scanning Electron Microscope

2011

cited By 3; International audience; The in situ sintering of a powder of Pb3(VO4) 1.6(PO4)0.4 composition was performed in an Environmental Scanning Electron Microscope. The electric current induced by the electron beam was found to reduce the effective temperature of sintering as well as to accelerate the kinetics of shrinkage of a cluster composed of sub-micrometric grains of material. The presence of the residual current flow in the cluster during observation for in situ experiments helps to reduce the apparent sintering temperatures from 50 to 150 °C compared to conventional heating conditions without current. © 2011 Elsevier B.V. Straight Access to Indoles from Anilines and Ethylene Glycol by Heterogeneous Acceptorless Dehydrogenative Condensation.

2017

The development of original strategies for the preparation of indole derivatives is a major goal in drug design. Herein, we report the first straight access to indoles from anilines and ethylene glycol by heterogeneous catalysis, based on an acceptorless dehydrogenative condensation, under noninert conditions. In order to achieve high selectivity, a combination of Pt/Al2O3 and ZnO have been found to slowly dehydrogenate ethylene glycol generating, after condensation with the amine and tautomeric equilibrium, the corresponding pyrrole-ring unsubstituted indoles.

Study of TiO2 nanomembranes obtained by an induction heated MOCVD reactor

2015

Abstract Nanostructures of TiO2 were grown using the metal oxide chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) technique. The procedure used induction heating on a graphite susceptor. This specific feature and the use of cobalt and ferrocene catalysts resulted in nanomembranes never obtained by common MOCVD reactors. The present study discusses the preparation of TiO2 nanomembranes and the dependence of nanomembrane structure and morphology on growth parameters.

Mononuclear Complexes of Iron(II) Based on Symmetrical Tripodand Ligands: Novel Parent Systems for the Development of New Spin Crossover Metallomesog…

2011

The synthesis and characterization of a series of mononuclear tripodand-based FeII complexes by means of Mossbauer andUV/Vis spectroscopic as well as magnetic methods is reported. The complexes were obtained from the reactions of FeII salt with heterocyclic aldehydes (imd = imidazole-4(5)-carboxaldehyde, py = picolinaldehyde, or 6-Mepy = 6-methylpicolinaldehyde) and a symmetric triamine [tren = tris(2-aminoethyl)amine, tame = 2,2,2-tris(aminomethyl)ethane, or tach = 1,3,5-cis,cis-cyclohexanetriamin]. Because of extreme rigidity of the capping triamine tach, the molecular structure of {Fe[tach(imd)3](BF4)2} (1) features an unprecedented tapered trigonal prismatic FeN6 polyhedron. The molecul…

Influence of the chain length and metal : ligand ratio on the self-organization processes of Cu2+ complexes of [1 + 1] 1H-pyrazole azamacrocycles

2020

Three new [1 + 1] macrocycles formed by the reaction of 1H-3,5-bis(chloromethyl)pyrazole with the tosylated amines 1,4,7,10-tetraazadecane (L1), 1,4,8,11-tetraazaundecane (L2) and 1,5,10,14-tetraazatetradecane (L3) are described. Potentiometric studies and HR-ESI-Mass spectrometry show the formation of dimeric binuclear Cu2+ complexes whose organization depends on the type of hydrocarbon chains connecting the amine groups. Furthermore, trinuclear or/and tetranuclear complexes are formed depending also on the length of the polyaminic bridge and on the sequence of the hydrocarbon chains. The crystal structures of the [2 + 2] [Cu2(H(H−1L2))2](ClO4)4·4H2O (1) and [Cu2(H−1L2)2](ClO4)2 (2) comple…
