Abstract Controlled assessment of functional cortical networks is an unmet need in the clinical research of noncooperative subjects, such as infants. We developed an automated, pneumatic stimulation method to actuate naturalistic movements of an infant’s hand, as well as an analysis pipeline for assessing the elicited electroencephalography (EEG) responses and related cortical networks. Twenty newborn infants with perinatal asphyxia were recruited, including 7 with mild-to-moderate hypoxic–ischemic encephalopathy (HIE). Medicine’s ability to quickly respond to challenges raises questions from researchers, practitioners, and society as a whole. Our task in this study was to identify key and atypical current factors influencing the development of medicine and to predict the development of medicine in the short, medium, and long term. To implement our study, we selected 22 medical experts and applied the three-level Delphi method. The current trends caused by COVID-19 have a short-term impact, but they will launch other drivers that will transform the healthcare industry. The trace algebra Cnd over a field of characteristic 0 is generated by all traces of products of d generic n × n matrices, n, d 2. Minimal sets of generators of Cnd are known for n = 2 and n = 3 for any d as well as for n = 4 and n = 5 and d = 2. The defining relations between the generators are found for n = 2 and any d and for n = 3, d = 2 only. Starting with the generating set of C3d given by Abeasis and Pittaluga in 1989, we have shown that the minimal degree of the set of defining relations of C3d is equal to 7 for any d 3. This paper aims to examine the use of inclusive French in the Internet publications of Paris universities on their social media. Three higher education institutions were selected: Paris Dauphine-PSL University, Gustave Eiffel University, and Sorbonne Paris North University. The publications were obtained from Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Firstly, the groups of people to whom the use of inclusive French referred were considered. The second question was about the practices used to make the French language inclusive. Eight practices were observed and are described in the paper. How salience enhances inhibitory control : An analysis of electro-cortical mechanisms

Stop-signal tasks (SSTs) combined with human electro-cortical recordings (Event-Related Potentials, ERPs) have revealed mechanisms associated with successful stopping (relative to failed), presumably contributing to inhibitory control. The corresponding ERP signatures have been labeled stop N1 (+/- 100-ms latency), stop N2 (200 ms), and stop P3 (160–250 ms), and argued to reflect more sensory-specific (N1) versus more generic (N2, P3) mechanisms. However, stop N1 and stop N2, as well as latencies of stop-P3, appear to be quite inconsistent across studies. Il presente lavoro si prefigge, anche sulla base di riflessioni precedenti, di considerare la costruzione e la definizione sociale del genere attraverso l’analisi e le implicazioni socio-culturali introdotte, in particolare, dal transgenderismo e dall’intersessualità1 nello scenario tardo-moderno.
