Word Order Typology and the Minimalist Program: What Do Parameters Belong To?

One of the problems related with the word order and word order typology is connected with derivation obtaining in the narrow syntax and the conditions responsible for the Full Interpretation requirement at LF as well as at PF. If it is assumed that linearization as defined in Kayne (1994) is the reflexion of the asymmetric character of syntax at PF, then it is worth analysing which properties of the syntactic derivation within the narrow syntax are reflected at PF and which configurations seen on the surface are the results of PF conditions. 1. Breve descrizione dell’oggetto di studio Il concorso del Palazzo di Giustizia di Roma si svolge in quattro fasi svolte tra il 1884 e il 1887. Il progetto per il primo concorso, del 1884, redatto dall’allora giovanissimo Ernesto Basile (Palermo 1857-1932), rivela una grande perizia progettuale che trasforma il complesso programma funzionale in un austero edificio in stile neofiorentino. Brief description of the object of study The competition of the Palace of Justice in Rome takes place in four phases between 1884 and 1887. The project for the first competition in 1884 drawn up by the then very young Ernesto Basile (Palermo 1857-1932) reveals a great deal of design expertise that transforms the complex functional program into an austere building in neo-florentine style. The original drawings of the building not realized kept in the Basile Endowment of the Department of Architecture of the University of Palermo have been the subject of preliminary study to the phases of analysis interpretation and conceptual reconstruction of the digital model. 2. Thermal and thermo-oxidative stability and kinetics of decomposition of PHBV/sisal composites

The decomposition behaviours of composites made of poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyvalerate) (PHBV) and sisal were assessed in terms of thermal stability and decomposition kinetics, under inert and oxidative conditions, by means of multi-rate linear non-isothermal thermogravimetric experiments. A statistical design of experiments was applied to study the influence of the addition of sisal (0-10-20-30%wt), the presence coupling agent (Yes/No) and the applied conditions of work (inert or oxidative). ANOTĀCIJA Promocijas darbs veltīts Latvijas tautsaimniecībai aktuālu farmaceitiski aktīvo vielu (FAV) izpētei. Veikti apskatīto vielu kristālsolvātu meklējumi un iegūtas līdz šim neaprakstītas vielu kristāliskās formas. Novērtēta iegūto formu stabilitāte iegūšanas, ražošanas un uzglabāšanas apstākļos. Atsevišķām FAV veikta struktūras noteikšana, gan izmantojot pulvera rentgendifraktometriju, gan monokristālu rentgendifraktometriju. MathCheck is a web-based tool for checking all steps of solutions to mathematics, logic and theoretical computer science problems, instead of checking just the final answers. It can currently deal with seven problem types related to arithmetic, logic, and syntax. Time-like Proton Form Factors with Initial State Radiation Technique

Electromagnetic form factors are fundamental quantities describing the internal structure of hadrons. They can be measured with scattering processes in the space-like region and annihilation processes in the time-like region. The two regions are connected by crossing symmetry. The measurements of the proton electromagnetic form factors in the time-like region using the initial state radiation technique are reviewed.
