Cavitation is a relevant phenomenon for structural safety and noise level in hydraulic turbines, occurring when water pressure falls below the vapor value at a given temperature. In this case bubbles of vapor grow inside the liquid and move along with it. When the pressure returns above the vapor value the bubble collapses, and the pressure can locally achieve very high values, up to 7000 bars (Kumar & Saini, 2010). About the regulations of the societas quaestus - referable to the societas universorum quae ex quaestu veniunt and to the societas unius alicuius negotiationis and unius rei - the interpretative efforts of the Roman jurists were given profusely since the end of the republican age. The scientific monograph puts itself on the traces of identifying the notion of quaestus (gain) with particular reference to the inclusion within it of the so-called remuneration gifts. Furthermore it reconstructs the jurisprudential debate that aroses around the question of whether the socii - in the determination of the shares - had to respect a proportion with the contributions and in this sense with an attempt to explain the existing contrast between a passage from the Digest and one of the Iustiniani Institutiones. Moreover always with specific reference to the societas quaestus the monograph investigates the setting-up of the intempestiva renuntiatio supporting its origin out of the contrast between Proculiani and Sabiniani so far postulated in doctrine. OBJECTIVES: The involvement of different factors in the onset of thoracic aortic aneurysm (TAA) in patients with a bicuspid aortic valve (BAV) vs those with a tricuspid aortic valve (TAV) is well recognized. However, the molecular, genetic and cellular mechanisms driving TAA remain unclear. The aim of this study was to identify the different mechanisms involved in TAA development in patients with BAV vs TAV. Four Remarkable Additions to the Biodiversity of Chinese Mosses

Four species of moss genus Schistidium are reported for the first time from China. All of them have been found in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. Ecological and distributional details of the newly recorded species are provided and their local distribution is mapped. Photographs of the species are attached. Checklist of Schistidium species and identifying key are added. Considering the present records, Schistidium consists of 15 species in China.

Human traffickers frequently take advantage of operative protocols that make them unpunishable pursuant the Italian Criminal Law because according to Art. 6 of the Italian Penal Code and International Convention on the High Sea jurisdictional powers cannot be exercised when the conduct is committed on the High Sea. So illustrating the territorial limitations of the efficacy of Criminal Law the research focuses on the hermeneutical solution given by the Court of Cassation that apparently with the intent of pursuing a more effectivity of the Criminal response recurred to the controversial category of the indirect offender in order to sanction smuggling conducts that enjoy the rescue intervention of the Italian authorities to reach their criminal aims. In turn in order to better identify the Italian jurisdiction in the crime of Art. 12 T.U. imm. I propose to correctly apply the concorso di persone (art. 110 c.p.) and the reato eventualmente permanente. Many disorders are associated with altered serum protein concentrations, including malnutrition, cancer, and cardiovascular, kidney, and inflammatory diseases. Although these protein concentrations are highly heritable, relatively little is known about their underlying genetic determinants.
