Este estudio tuvo como objetivo conocer el efecto del tiempo de práctica de ejercicio físico y las horas semanales de práctica sobre algunos aspectos cognitivos, emocionales y antropométricos (peso). 250 mujeres (edad media= 49.08 años) completaron cuestionarios de salud psicológica y datos sociodemográficos. Los análisis estadísticos mostraron que las horas semanales de práctica predicen parte de la varianza del peso, estabilidad emocional, autoconcepto y autoestima. Fate of pulp mill effluent compounds in a finnish watercourse

Chloroorganic chemicals emitted from the pulp and paper mill at nekoski in central Finland were monitored for several years. Concentration time series are used for evaluating the environmental fate and the applicability and validity of an exposure models. Fitted elimination rates of 3,4,5-Tri-, 4,5,6-Tri-, Tetrachloroguaiacol and 2,4,6-Trichlorophenol are approx. 0.22 d(-1), or rather the half-lives are approx. 3 days. The elimination is most likely by biodegradation and transport-controlled. For 2,3,6-trichloro-p-cymene, fate simulations indicate significant volatilization and sedimentation. The anaerobic bioconversion of solid poultry slaughterhouse wastes was kinetically investigated. The modified version ofMETHANEsimulation model was applied for description of experimental data in mesophilic laboratory digester and assays. Additionally, stages of formation and consumption of long chain fatty acids (LCFA) were included in the model. In this Letter, the effect of F(4)-TCNQ insertion at the anode/hole transport layer (HTL) interface was studied on joule heating and the lifetime of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). Joule heating was found to reduce significantly (pixel temperature decrease by about 10 K at a current density of 40 mA/cm(2)) by this insertion. However, the lifetime was found to reduce significantly with a 1 nm thick F(4)-TCNQ layer, and it improved by increasing the thickness of this layer. Thermal diffusion of F(4)-TCNQ into HTL leads to F(4)-TCNQ ionization by charge transfer, and drift of these molecules into the emissive layer caused faster degradation of the OLEDs. The modeling and characterization of silicon photomultipliers (SiPMs) in a wide temperature range from 95 K to 300 K is presented. The devices under study had the distinctive feature of forward-biased p-n junctions situated under each pixel as active quenching resistors making them particularly appropriate to be operated at cryogenic temperatures. The voltage drop across the diode in a forward direction was measured for a series of injected currents in this temperature range. It was observed that the characteristics of different SiPM types influence the temperature dependence of the reverse saturation current. Adaption of a PIN-diode detector as an online neutron monitor for the thermal column of the TRIGA research reactor.

A BNCT online neutron monitoring system was tested in a TRIGA reactor, using a silicon PIN-diode with a conversion foil. The setup was tested with different reactor powers at the hot and cold ends of the irradiation channel, using activation foils to compare with measured fluxes. The results demonstrate good reproducibility and show a linear correlation between signal of the PIN-diode and neutron flux at all positions, demonstrating this approach to be suitable for online monitoring of the neutron flux.
