One of the key elements of effective sports programs that contribute to a child’s sense of joy and satisfaction in participating in sports is contact with an adult who builds a caring climate deliberately and intentionally. Referees play a special role in providing positive experiences for young athletes.

2010

Job satisfaction is understood through its dual role on organization productivity and employees achievement (Smith, 1998). The use of instruments to measure it in Portugal, has been the subject of several studies, such as the adaptation of the Cuestionario de Satisfacción Laboral S20/23 (Meliá & Peiró, 1989) to Portuguese population carried out by Pocinho and García (2008). This study is a further contribution to the study of the psychometric qualities of this instrument. The results on a sample of 136 Portuguese employees show that the questionnaire presents the adequate requirements of internal consistency (.95), test-retest reliability, and convergent validity (correlation of .84 with th…

Podstawowe samowartościowanie - walidacja polskiej wersji skali do pomiaru Core Self-Evaluations

2017

Praca przedstawia walidację polskiej wersji skali do pomiaru podstawowego samowartościowania (Core Self-Evaluations – CSES; Judge, Erez, Bono i Thorensen, 2003). Podstawowe samowartościowanie to poglądy danej osoby, dotyczące jej skuteczności, zdolności, wiary we własne siły i pozytywnego nastawienia do siebie i świata.

Effects of emotional intelligence on entrepreneurial intention and self-efficacy

2014

Mood, Physical, and Mental Load in Spanish Teachers of Urban School: The Role of Intensive or Split Shift

2019

Psychosocial risk factors threaten the health of teachers, who are considered to be a group at high risk of suffering burnout syndrome. The objective of this study is to measure the levels of work satisfaction, burnout, engagement, emotional stability, fatigue, and mood of teachers, depending on their workday: intensive or split shift. A nonexperimental, descriptive–comparative research design is proposed for this study. A follow-up questionnaire has been developed to assess a teacher’s levels of physical fatigue, mental fatigue, and mood at the beginning and end of the 9 days of work analyzed. The study sample consisted of 125 teachers (102 women and 23 men) with a mean age of 38.67 years…
