One-hundred and five 6- to 7-year-old children were given a test measuring their helplessness, failure expectations, task-irrelevant behaviour, lack of persistence and search for social support in a classroom setting in order to examine the impact of parental well-being and parenting styles on the children’s cognitive and behavioural strategies at school. Both parents were also asked to fill in scales measuring their depression, parenting stress and parenting styles. Abstract The aim of the study was to investigate whether children's achievement strategies would predict the development of their reading and mathematical skills during the first school year, or whether it is rather these skills that predict the changes in their achievement strategies. One-hundred and five 6- to 7-year-old children were examined three times during their first year of primary school: in each measurement, their self-reported achievement strategies were assessed, and their reading and mathematical skills were rated by their classroom teacher. W krótkim tekście przedstawiono dwa przypadki walki władz komunistycznych z instytucjami kościelnymi w Polsce Ludowej. Gdańskie przedszkole prowadzone przez siostry zakonne pod szyldem „państwowego Caritas” zostało zlikwidowane – podobnie jak wiele innych w całym kraju – bez podania jakiejkolwiek racjonalnej podstawy prawnej. Placówki prowadzone w ramach Zrzeszenia Katolików „Caritas” władze najwyraźniej uważały już za „swoje”. Przy okazji przejęcia placówek przejmowano prawie zawsze budynek będący własnością kościelną i zwalniano personel zakonny. [EN] The legislation on assisted reproduction contemplates the ¿post mortem¿ fecundation. Nevertheless, the document for the presentation of the assent raises some doubts in relation with the principle of party autonomy and the new technologies of the information and communication (ICTs). In the present work one thinks about these questions and one tries to contribute some solution of application in the Spanish legal system.
