Pirms Industriālās revolūcijas reklāma bija fenomens, kas izplatījās vietējā mērogā, taču mūsdienās reklāmdevēji uzskata, ka ir „jādomā globāli, bet jārīkojas lokāli”. Paralēli sarunām, kas noris starp globālas un lokālas reklāmas piekritējiem, reklāmdevējiem ir jāatrod veidi, kā patērētājiem pārdot produktus, un viens no veidiem ir transkreācija. Transkreācija ir salīdzinoši jauns jēdziens un tam ir veltīta neliela pētnieciskā darbība, turklāt latviešu valodā šis termins vēl nav atzīts (lai gan Latvijas reklāmdevēji lieto terminu „adaptācija”). Evolutionary advantage conferred by an eukaryote-to-eukaryote gene transfer event in wine yeasts

Although an increasing number of horizontal gene transfers have been reported in eukaryotes, experimental evidence for their adaptive value is lacking. Here, we report the recent transfer of a 158-kb genomic region between Torulaspora microellipsoides and Saccharomyces cerevisiae wine yeasts or closely related strains. This genomic region has undergone several rearrangements in S. cerevisiae strains, including gene loss and gene conversion between two tandemly duplicated FOT genes encoding oligopeptide transporters. Asins pārliešana ir bieža procedūra intraoperatīvajā periodā bērniem ar iedzimtām sirdskaitēm, īpaši, ja tieka pielietota cardiopulmonary bypass tehnika (kardiopulmonalā apejas tehnika; turpmāk tekstā: CPB) ar mākslīgās asinsrites aparātu. Tā kā pacientiem intraoperatīvi bieži veidojas anēmija, tās korekcijai pielieto allogēnas eritrocītu masas (turpmāk tekstā : EM). Darba mērķis: noskaidrot, vai EM masa pilnīgi kompensē asins zudumu, kas radies mākslīgās asinsrites laikā, kā arī noskaidrot iespējāmās komplikācijas, kas varētu rasties pēctransfūzijas laikā. The changes of translation norms. 1930 and 1953 as contexts of the translation of The Magic Mountain by Thomas Mann. The author presents the preliminary considerations related to a planned study the purpose of which is to reconstruct the history of the Polish translation of Der Zauberberg (The Magic Mountain) by Thomas Mann and examine its impact on the Polish reception of the work. Since each of the two parts of the novel were translated by different translators and because the second volume was translated twice (in 1930 and 1953), the translation contexts are very significant.
