Investigation of absorber and heterojunction in the pure sulphide kesterite

This paper aims to study the properties of the absorber layer and the heterojunction in kesterite solar cells. The Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) thin films were layered on a glass substrate from a colloidal solution of metal salts and thiourea dissolved in a mixture of water and ethanol and deposited by spin coating technique. The samples were then heat treated in a furnace, in the presence of sulphur powder and under a nitrogen gas flow. The results revealed the formation of homogeneous layers of a pure kesterite phase of CZTS crystallites after heat treatment with correct stoichiometry and oxidation states. Efficient light-emitting electrochemical cells using small molecular weight, ionic, host-guest systems

This work has been supported by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (MAT2014-55200). Light-emitting electrochemical cells (LECs) based on fluorescent host-guest small molecules system are reported. The LECs show electroluminescence coming solely from the guest, with an external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 2.0%, which is very close to the theoretical maximum EQE (2.2%) for this particular system. This work demonstrates the possibility to obtain high efficiency devices employing low-cost materials, making host-guest systems a real alternative to more traditional semiconducting polymer or transition metal compounds. Pētījuma mērķis ir pētīt un analizēt skolēnu miega ilgumu un kvalitāti, salīdzināt miega ietekmi uz skolēnu mācību darbu un ārpus skolas darbu vecumā no 16-18 gadiem. Pētījuma izlasi veido 7 respondentes vecumā no 16.-18. gadiem. Respondentes, apmeklē vispārizglītojošo vidējās izglītības iestādi un papildus tam apmeklē basketbola treniņus Jūrmalas sporta skolā. Pētījuma dalībnieki piekrišanu piedalīties pētījumā izteica brīvprātīgi un visi iegūtie dati tika izmantoti tikai šī pētījuma ietvaros. Pētījuma laikā tika izmantoti sirds ritma variabilitātes mērījumi no pulsa jostiņām, ko respondentes izmantoja 28 dienas, miega kvalitātes subjektīva numeriskā vērtēšanas skala un intervijas. Metamorphic geology has accumulated a huge body of observation on mineral assemblages that reveal strong patterns in occurrence, summarised for example in the idea of metamorphic facies. On the realisation that such patterns needed a simple explanation, there has been considerable a posteriori success from adopting the idea that equilibrium thermodynamics can be used on mineral assemblages to make sense of the patterns in terms of, for example, the pressure and temperature of formation of mineral assemblages. An analytical model to evaluate the radiated power spectrum of a multipactor discharge in a parallel-plate region

This paper is aimed at studying the electromagnetic radiation pattern of a multipactor discharge occurring in a parallel-plate waveguide. The proposed method is based on the Fourier expansion of the multipactor current in terms of time-harmonic currents radiating in the parallel-plate region. Classical radiation theory combined with the frequency domain Green's function of the problem allows the calculation of both the electric and the magnetic radiated fields.
