Felles mentale modeller i elitefotball: En casestudie av delt oppgavespesifikk kunnskap, ferdighet og teamtrening i to norske team.
2015

Masteroppgave idrettsvitenskap- Universitetet i Agder, 2015 The purpose of this study was to enlighten the importance of the social interactions regarding the students’ wellbeing and learning in physical education. This should lead to an increased reflection and a nuanced perspective on physical education, where the organization of the subject and the students’ participation has seemed to be most important. The study should therefore investigate how the students’ self-efficacy, goal orientation and self-concept influenced the social interactions within a class. All of these mentioned theories explain human behavior. Further, the study showed how the social interactions occurred, how it infl…

Finnish late adolescents’ physical activity during COVID-19 spring 2020 lockdown
2021
Background Physical activity (PA) is recognised as one of the leading and effective strategies to prevent non-communicable diseases that boosts the immune system to fight against diseases. Closures of schools, sport clubs and facilities because of COVID-19 reduced the opportunities to participate in PA. We aimed to examine physical activity levels of late adolescents, the contexts to be physical active and its changes during the spring 2020 lockdown. Methods A national representative sample of late adolescents in general upper secondary school (n = 2408, females = 64%, mean age = 17.2y, SD = 0.63) completed self-report online surveys on PA behaviours between March and June 2020. Multinomina…
Perceived physical competence towards physical activity, and motivation and enjoyment in physical education as longitudinal predictors of adolescents…
2015
Abstract Objectives The aim of the study was to investigate if adolescents' perceived physical competence towards physical activity (PA), and autonomous motivation and enjoyment in physical education (PE) during early adolescence can predict amount and intensity of self-reported physical activity six years later. Design This study utilized a 6-year longitudinal data set collected within Finnish school settings. Students responded to questionnaires measuring their perceived physical competence towards physical activity, and autonomous motivation and enjoyment in PE during their first year at middle school (Grade 7), and their PA engagement during their last year in high school (Grade 12). Me…
Moderate-to-Vigorous Physical Activity Levels in Physical Education, School Recess, and After-School Time: Influence of Gender, Age, and Weight Status
2016
Background:Primary and secondary school ages have been considered key moments to address the decrease of moderate-tovigorous physical activity (MVPA). Individual (eg, age, gender, and weight status) and contextual factors (moments of the day) need to be considered for a better explanation of the phenomenon. The quantity and quality of physical activity in Physical Education (PE), school recess (SR), and after school (AS) time need to be taken into account to solve the low levels of MVPA in youth. Methods:A sample of adolescents (N = 231, 14.6 ± 1.2 years old) was studied using accelerometry to determine the objective MVPA level in PE, SR, and AS.Results:Results indicated statistically signif…
