Problēmrisināšanas uzdevumi dabaszinību apguvē 4.-6. klasē

Pieredzes darbs “Problēmrisināšanas uzdevumi dabaszinību apguvē 4.-6. klasē” ir pieredzē balstīts darbs, kura mērķis bija apkopot informāciju par problēmrisināšanas uzdevumu lietošanu un izstrādāt uzdevumu piemērus dabaszinību apguvei pamatskolā. Darba izstrāde notika vispārizglītojošas skolas dabaszinību stundās trīs 4. klasēs, vienā 5. klasē un vienā 6. klasē. Rezultātā tika izstrādāti un aprobēti trīs tematu plāni dabaszinību apguvei 4., 5. un 6. klasē, stundu plāni, metodiskie līdzekļi un vērtēšanas metodika problēmrisināšnas uzdevumam tematos “Gaisma” (4. klase), “Dabas resursi” (5. klase) un “Šūna, audi, organisms”(6. klase).

The current and upcoming generation of Very Large Volume Neutrino Telescopes – collecting unprecedented quantities of neutrino events – can be used to explore subtle effects in oscillation physics, such as (but not restricted to) the neutrino mass ordering. The sensitivity of an experiment to these effects can be estimated from Monte Carlo simulations. With the high number of events that will be collected, there is a trade-off between the computational expense of running such simulations and the inherent statistical uncertainty in the determined values. A data-driven surrogate-assisted evolutionary algorithm applied to a many-objective blast furnace optimization problem

A new data-driven reference vector-guided evolutionary algorithm has been successfully implemented to construct surrogate models for various objectives pertinent to an industrial blast furnace. A total of eight objectives have been modeled using the operational data of the furnace using 12 process variables identified through a principal component analysis and optimized simultaneously. The capability of this algorithm to handle a large number of objectives, which has been lacking earlier, results in a more efficient setting of the operational parameters of the furnace, leading to a precisely optimized hot metal production process. peerReviewed

Divu izlašu salīdzināšana izdzīvošanas datu analīzē

Darbā apskatītas vairākas iespējamās divu izlašu problēmas izdzīvošanas datu analīzē, kā arī šīm problēmām pielāgoti hipotēžu pārbaudes testi. Izdzīvošanas datu īpatnība ir cenzēšana, kas jāņem vērā, izvēloties statistiskās metodes. Klasiska izdzīvošanas analīzes problēma ir divu izlašu sadlījumu funkciju salīdzināšana, kura tiek veikta ar Mantela testu, savukārt mediānu salīdzināšanai var izmantot testu gan par divu mediānu starpību, gan attiecību.
