Introduction One of the examples of genes whose expression can be altered by the action of ustekinumab is TGF-β. It is a pleiotropic cytokine whose activity affects psoriatic changes and the state of homeostasis of the whole organism. Aim To evaluate the effect of ustekinumab on the transcriptional activity of TGF-b family genes in patients with psoriatic arthritis and to check whether the results obtained can be helpful in monitoring the progress of treatment. The author has studied, in a group of 40 dissections on cadavers of individuals of different ages, the main “critical zones” of entrapment of some terminal branches of the lumbo-sacral plexus, which include canals (fibrous, osteo-fibrous, fibro-muscular), intervals (intermuscular, fibro-muscular, musculo-ligamentous), rings (fibrous or fibro-muscular) and foramina. They provide the topographical anatomical basis for possible compressive phenomena of the nerves of the lower limb.

In rheumatology the so-called "seronegative spondarthritis" is a group of diseases characterized by the presence of HLA-B 27. This group includes the typical ankylosing spondylitis as well as atypical spondylopathies such as those occurring in psoriasis, Reiter's disease and chronic inflammatory enteropathies, which attack mainly the spine and secondarily the peripheral joints. In some severe cases, non-infectious, sterile spondylodiscitis was observed. These can lead to instability and fracture, followed by pseudarthrosis of the involved segment of the spine. Leflunomide is a member of the disease modifying anti-rheumatic drugs group used as a treatment modality in active rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis. “Oral ulcers” are reported in 3-5% of leflunomide medicated rheumatoid arthritis patients with adverse events, but they are not described in detail in the literature. Optical and structural properties of Al 2 O 3 /ZnO nanolaminates deposited by ALD method

International audience; We report on the investigation of optical and structural properties of Al2O3/ZnO nanolaminates. The nanolaminates were deposited on Si and glass substrates by Atomic layer deposition method. Structural properties of nanolaminates were studied by SEM, GIXRD, and AFM. Optical characterization was performed by transmittance and photoluminescence spectroscopy. Complex analysis of monolayer properties was done by ellipsometry. Optical constants for Al2O3 and ZnO monolayer were calculated.
