El objetivo del presente trabajo es evaluar la incidencia de la psicopatología, sintomatología clínica y alteraciones de la imagen corporal en las variables salutogénicas estilos de apego, bienestar psicológico y auto concepto, así como la incidencia de diferencias individuales. La muestra está compuesta por 675 adolescentes valencianos (470 chicos y 255 chicas) de entre 13 y 18 años (M=15.44 y DT=1.76). The hypothesis that physical constraints may be as important, if not more important, than biological ones in shaping the structure of phytoplankton assemblage was tested by analyzing longterm (11–29 years) phytoplankton series in eight lakes and nine sites located along a latitudinal gradient in the Northern hemisphere. A case-based computer-aided diagnosis system assists physicians and other medical personnel in the interpretation of optical biopsies obtained through confocal laser endomicroscopy. Extraction in CLE images shows promising results on inferring semantic metadata from low-level features. In order to effectively ensure the interoperability with potential third-party applications, the system provides an interface compliant with the recent standards ISO/IEC 15938-12:2008 (MPEG Query Format) and ISO/IEC 24800 (JPEG Search).
Easy Route to Functionalize Iron Oxide Nanoparticles via Long-Term Stable Thiol Groups

International audience; The functionalization of superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (SPIOs) by meso-2,3-dimercaptosuccinic acid (DMSA) was investigated. Under ambient conditions, the thiol groups from DMSA are not stable and do not allow a direct functionalization without storage in stringent conditions or a chemical regeneration of free thiols. In this study, we have developed a protocol based on poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) grafting of SPIO prior to DMSA anchoring. We have observed that PEG helps to increase the stability of thiol groups under ambient conditions.
