An Efficient Wiener Path Integral Technique Formulation for Stochastic Response Determination of Nonlinear MDOF Systems

The recently developed approximate Wiener path integral (WPI) technique for determining the stochastic response of nonlinear/hysteretic multi-degree-of-freedom (MDOF) systems has proven to be reliable and significantly more efficient than a Monte Carlo simulation (MCS) treatment of the problem for low-dimensional systems. Mechanical interfaces are theoretical and computational tools able to properly reproduce then progressive delamination of composite structures. Scientific literature is rich of interface models, mostly developed in small displacements, whereas a few of them assess the problem in a geometrically nonlinear setting. Heterogeneous structures studied by an interphase elasto-plastic damaging model

Heterogeneous materials present a mechanical response strongly dependent on the static and kinematic phenomena occurring in the constituents and at their joints. At the mesoscopic level the interaction between the units is simulated by mean of apposite mechanical devices such as the zero thickness interface model where contact tractions and displacement discontinuities are the primary static and kinematic variables respectively. The Mediterranean Tursiops truncatus subpopulation has been classified as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List because of its decline. This species in coastal areas is exposed to a wide variety of threats: directed kills, bycatch, reduced prey availability caused by environmental degradation and overfishing, habitat degradation including disturbances from boat traffic and noise. Development of HPLC methods for the purification and analysis of plasma membrane glycoproteins.

High resolution HPLC techniques such as affinity chromatography (AC), ion exchange chromatography (IEC), and size exclusion chromatography (SEC) were used successfully for separations of hydrophobic plasma membrane glycoproteins. We have tested a lot of commercially available columns for IEC and SEC and performed the purification of the crude plasma membrane extract with the most suitable columns. By using immobilized ligands with different specificities and sequential affinity chromatography, it is possible to obtain a preliminary structural characterization of the interesting carbohydrate residues of membrane glycoproteins.

This paper analyses the impact of regional incentive policy from the point of view of efficiency. Contrary to usual practice, a micro-level approach is used. Four possibilities for displacement effects to arise are proposed: displacement may be either direct or indirect and simultaneously directed either at existing or ‘potential’ production. Background Anidulafungin is indicated as a first-line treatment for invasive candidiasis in critically ill patients. In the intensive care unit, sepsis is the main cause of acute renal failure, and treatment with continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) has increased in recent years. Antimicrobial pharmacokinetics is affected by CRRT, but few studies have addressed the optimal dosage for anidulafungin during CRRT.
