Abstract The presence of a pheromonotropically active hormone (PBAN-like substance) from locust organs, ( Locusta migratoria ) has been demonstrated. Extracts of brain, corpora cardiaca, corpora allata, suboesophageal ganglia and thoracic ganglia of L. migratoria caused highly pheromonotropic responses in decapitated females of the European corn borer moth ( Ostrinia nubilalis ). The highest activity per unit weight of tissue was found in the corpora cardiaca and corpora allata of the locust followed by the brain plus suboesophageal ganglion of O. nubilalis . Studien er en kvalitativ intervjuundersokelse blant laererutdannere og laererstudenter ved en norsk laererutdanningsinstitusjon. Si bien en la educación presencial uno de los factores clave del éxito es el desempeño del docente dentro del salón de clase, es evidente que dentro de la educación en línea el papel del docente será distinto a su papel tradicional. Por ello, deben revalorarse los factores que garantizarán la calidad en este nuevo tipo de oferta educativa. En este estudio se muestran los resultados obtenidos de un análisis de caso de educación mixta (blended learning) para educación superior, y se enlistan los factores de éxito resultantes, así como algunas barreras para la adecuada implantación.

Masters of their own time? Working carers’s visions about combining retirement and caring

How do working careers anticipate the timing of retirement and the weight of care commitments related to other activities when retired? This question is discussed by analysing the experiences of Finnish working careers. Most of the interviewees indicated that helping parent(s) would be part of their own retirement, but after leaving full-time work they would also like to devote time for their other personal interests, too. Working careers are willing to engage in caring when retired. However, they also have a desire to outline their caring tasks and manage their own time. nonPeerReviewed
