Tutkielman tavoitteena oli kuvata matkailualan perustutkinnon suorittaneen matkailupalvelujen tuottajan kokemusta ammatillisesta identiteetistään ammatillisen kasvun ja kehittymisen eri vaiheissa. Tavoitteena oli myös ymmärtää, millaisia aineksia matkailualan perustutkinnon suorittaminen on antanut opiskelijoiden ammatillisen identiteetin kehittymiselle ja subjektiksi tulemiselle. Tutkimusmetodina oli fenomenologis-hermeneuttinen lähestymistapa, jossa analyysin kohteena olivat tutkittavien kerrotut ja kirjoitetut kokemukset. A well-known practice uses mechanical variators to realize the so-called continuously variable transmissions (CVTs) for automotive application. A remarkable problem for one of the most used CVTs is given by the hydraulic control of the axial thrust on the half-pulleys that is necessary for torque transmission. It involves a heavy decrease in transmission efficiency. In the present paper, the possible production of the required axial thrust by a simple spring to eliminate hydraulic losses is analysed. Rhombi-chain Bose-Hubbard model: Geometric frustration and interactions

We explore the effects of geometric frustration within a one-dimensional Bose-Hubbard model using a chain of rhombi subject to a magnetic flux. The competition of tunnelling, self-interaction and magnetic flux gives rise to the emergence of a pair-superfluid (pair-Luttinger liquid) phase besides the more conventional Mott-insulator and superfluid (Luttinger liquid) phases. We compute the complete phase diagram of the model by identifying characteristic properties of the pair-Luttinger liquid phase such as pair correlation functions and structure factors and find that the pair-Luttinger liquid phase is very sensitive to changes away from perfect frustration (half-flux). This study was designed to test the role of general and selective task instructions when processing documents, which vary as regards trustworthiness and position toward a conflicting topic. With selective task instructions, we refer to concrete guidelines as how to read the texts and how to select appropriate documents and contents, in contrast to general task instructions.
