From a strategic point of view, and also from the directive management perspective, this is the type of knowledge that adds the greatest value to an organisation. Towards Resilient Organisations and Societies? Reflections on the Multifaceted Nature of Resilience

AbstractAs the chapters in this volume have shown, resilience is a multifaceted and malleable concept that can be fruitfully applied to a wide range of phenomena at all levels of society. At the same time, there is a distinct danger of concept stretching. In this concluding chapter, we look at both the extensiveness of the concept, reviewing the range of complementary concepts that have been engaged by the authors, and how it can be delimited to maintain conceptual distinctiveness and explanatory value. What is more, we provide some recommendations on how scholars working across disciplinary boundaries may go about unpacking resilience in and for organizations and societies.

Entrepreneurial success and human resources

PurposeThis paper aims to determine factors that have an influence on human resource management and entrepreneurial success in the context of European innovative small and medium‐sized enterprises (SMEs).Design/methodology/approachA primary test questionnaire was tested with 50 Spanish entrepreneurs. Science policy increasingly focuses on maximising societal benefits from science and technology investments, but often reduces those benefits to activities involving codifying and selling knowledge, thereby idealising best practice academic behaviours around entrepreneurial superstars. Bakalaura darbā autors analizē tiesu praksi saistībā ar Administratīvā procesa likuma 253. panta trešo un sesto daļu, Eiropas Cilvēktiesību tiesas praksi un citus avotus, ar mērķi noskaidrot Administratīvā procesa likuma 253. panta trešās daļas saturu, to, vai šobrīd spēkā esošais regulējums ir atbilstošs tiesībām uz taisnīgu tiesu un to, vai nebūtu lietderīgi piešķirt tiesām kompetenci grozīt administratīvos aktus. Autors secina, ka lai gan tiesību norma sākotnēji paredzēta administratīvo pārkāpumu grozīšanai, šādu kompetenci būtu lietderīgi piešķirt administratīvajām tiesām attiecībā uz dažādām administratīvo kategorijām, lai gan no tiesībām uz taisnīgu tiesu šāda prasība neizriet.

Pētījuma darba lappušu 53 skaits tostarp 2 tabulas un 5 attēli. 34 bibliogrāfiskā saraksta vienības un 7 pielikumi. Pirmsskolas izglītības iestādē ik uz soļa ir saskarsme, gan bērnu, gan bērnu un pieaugušo starpā. Šī saskarsme mēdz būt gan pozitīva, gan negatīva. Pedagogs ir tas, kas bērniem palīdz attīstīt un uzlabot šīs saskarsmes prasmes pielietojot dažādas rotaļas. Rotaļa pirmsskolas vecuma bērniem ir neatņemama dzīves sastāvdaļa, kurā viņi neapzināti iemācās un apgūst dzīvei nepieciešamās prasmes. Praktiskā pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, kādus paņēmienus var izmantot saskarsmes attīstīšanai jaunākā pirmsskolas vecuma bērniem (1.5- 3 gadi), veicot pedagoģiskā procesa pētījumu pirmsskolā. Darbam tika izvirzīta hipotēze, ka jaunākā pirmsskolas vecuma bērnu saskarsme veidosies veiksmīgi, ja: bērnu attīstība ģimenē un pirmsskolā mērķtiecīgi tiks virzīta uz saskarsmes attīstību; audzināšanas procesā tiks izmantotas rotaļas, pasakas.
