Games and Bisimulations for Intuitionistic First-Order Kripke Models

The aim of this paper is to introduce the notion of a game for intuitionisticfirst-order Kripke models. We also establish links between notions presented here and thenotions of logical equivalence and bounded bisimulation for intuitionistic first-order Kripkemodels, and the Ehrenfeucht–Fra ̈ıss ́e game for classical first-order structures.

Partial migration – a part of a population migrates and another part stays resident year-round on the breeding site – is probably the most common type of migration in the animal kingdom, yet it has only lately garnered more attention. Work stressors and creativity

Work stressors, conflict asymmetries and dissatisfaction with the status quo are all negative factors which workers today are subjected to. Unfortunately, these situations occur more often than companies would want. However, negative results, despite what might be expected, do not always follow in the performances of affected employees. In this paper, through a theoretical review, it is shown under what circumstances these stressors can actually increase creative performance. Additionally, the moderation role carried out by emotional intelligence and job control is analyzed. Conclusions and future research lines are presented.

Abstract This work aims at evaluating the mechanical performance of joints in an AA6016 alloy, manufactured by means of two alternative processes: friction stir welding and adhesive bonding. Given its wide use in industrial fields such as automotive and aeronautics, an overlap configuration of joints was selected for the study, and a specific method based on the overlap length evaluation has been developed to allow comparisons among the cases. In this article we describe various ways in which power is exercised between personnel in a hospital operating theatre. We aim to investigate how the forms of discursive power and workplace learning are intertwined with each other by utilizing an ethnographic approach in the fieldwork. Our data were collected mainly through observations and interviews with surgical residents, physicians and nurses. In the article we describe the delicate ways in which power is exercised and resisted in everyday practices. The article starts from an analysis of Johannes Löwenklau's Apologia pro Zosimo adversus Evagrii, Nicephori Callisti et aliorum acerbas criminationes, Basel 1576 to show how the antithesis between Constantine and Julian is an amplified antithesis. Thinking of the two figures standardised as antithetical, Julian cannot be schematically contrasted with the new faith in the name of the Olympian faith, as he not only practises and proclaims tolerance, but is syncretist. Constantine himself can be described as a tolerant emperor, an attitude closely linked to a particularly elaborate 'pagan strategy' that can be found by simultaneously considering epigraphy, numismatics and Latin panegyrics.

International audience; This study uses the London Stock Exchange (LSE), forced to demutualize due to major changes in its business environment, notably due to increased competition and technological advances, as field experiment to study corporate governance restructuring to adapt to new market conditions.
