Tumor escape to immune system surveillance is one of the reasons why human cancer achieves to grow. In my research team, we aim to study CD4 T cell populations and their functions in the context of cancer. My work was precisely to determine if the results obtained in mice could be transposable in humans, in the context of breast cancer. . We first unraveled that tumor infiltrating Th17 cells could inhibit effector and cytotoxic functions of Th1 and CD8 T cells in an ectonucleotidase-dependent manner. Una de las concreciones de la pedagogía crítica en la educación musical es la utilización de un repertorio que incorpore las preferencias del alumnado. En este estudio se aborda la presencia de dicho repertorio en los manuales escolares más utilizados en la actualidad. Para ello, se ha accedido a 15 libros de texto, analizando 985 piezas distintas. Las variables empleadas han sido el período histórico o género musical, el estilo dentro del repertorio de la música popular urbana, la antigüedad del autor y la tipología de propuesta didáctica asociada. This work addresses the problem of infrared mass renormalization for a scalar electron in a translation-invariant model of non-relativistic QED. We assume that the interaction of the electron with the quantized electromagnetic field comprises a fixed ultraviolet regularization and an infrared regularization parametrized by $\sigma>0$. For the value $p=0$ of the conserved total momentum of electron and photon field, bounds on the renormalized mass are established which are uniform in $\sigma\to0$, and the existence of a ground state is proved. Abstract The paper presents a color sensor system that can process light reflected from a surface and produce a digital output representing the color of the surface. The end-user interface circuit requires only a 3-bit pseudo flash analog-to-digital converter (ADC) in place of the conventional/typical design comprising ADC, digital signal processor and memory. For scalability and compactness, the ADC was designed such that only two comparators were required regardless of the number of color/wavelength to be identified. This paper outlines the recent studies on the application of photocatalysis using semiconductors, with modified titanium dioxide (TiO2) in the process of reducing chemical contamination of surface and ground waters. During the last forty years, an increasing interest in catalysts of this type is noticeable. Hence, a wide range of methods of TiO2 modifications have been proposed so far by using its various polymorphs, composites with metals and non-metals and polymer-coatings or impregnating it with dyes that effectively absorb sunlight.
