International audience; Unstable CTG expansions in the 3' UTR of the DMPK gene are responsible for myotonic dystrophy type 1 (DM1) condition. Muscle dysfunction is one of the main contributors to DM1 mortality and morbidity. Pathways by which mutant DMPK trigger muscle defects, however, are not fully understood. We previously reported that miR-7 was downregulated in a DM1 Drosophila model and in biopsies from patients. Here, using DM1 and normal muscle cells, we investigated whether miR-7 contributes to the muscle phenotype by studying the consequences of replenishing or blocking miR-7, respectively. Tässä pro gradu -tutkielmassa tarkastellaan naispuolisten upseerien uravalintaa, sopeutumista työyhteisöön sekä heidän tasapainotteluaan oman naiseutensa ja naisellisuutensa sekä sotilaan perinteisen maskuliinisuuden kanssa. Sotilasuran valitseminen on edelleen poikkeuksellista naisille. Vapaaehtoisen asepalveluksen suorittaminen on ollut naisille mahdollista vuodesta 1995 alkaen, mutta edelleen upseeristosta vain noin 2 % on naisia. Tutkimuksen aihe linkittyy laajemmin työelämään ja tasa-arvoon sekä yhteiskunnassa käytyyn keskusteluun asepalveluksen uudistamisesta nykyistä muotoa tasa-arvoisemmaksi. ”Mikä sai naisen lähtemään armeijaan?” Kysymys toistui useampaan otteeseen vuoden aikana suorittaessani naisten vapaaehtoista asepalvelusta. Astuin palvelukseen vuoden 2000 heinäkuussa, jolloin naisia oli ollut varusmiehinä vajaat viisi vuotta. Tänä vuonna naisten vapaaehtoisen asepalveluksen mahdollistavan lain voimaantulosta ja ensimmäisten naisten palvelukseen astumisesta tulee kuluneeksi kaksikymmentäviisi vuotta. Se on samalla sekä pitkä että lyhyt aika. Paljon on muuttunut siitä, kun itse palvelin varusmiehenä. This naturalistic study focuses on problem talk (PT) in hospital management group meetings. The study aims to understand how PT constitutes the hospital organization through the different uses of PT within the meetings, and, therefore, to understand the organizing role of these meetings. The communication as constitutive of organization (CCO) perspective forms the theoretical background of the research. The results of the qualitative analysis show that PT comprises many intertwined tasks that aim to perform the meetings, enhance problem solving, and maintain the relational level of group life.
