Abstract The DNA-binding of two salphen-like metal complexes of nickel(II) (1) and zinc(II) (2) was investigated in different ionic strength solutions by absorption spectroscopy. The data analysis allowed us to obtain the values of their extrapolated DNA-binding constant in physiological conditions, with DNA-binding strength in the order Ni > Zn, and to give relative weight to the electrostatic and non-electrostatic contributions to their DNA-interaction.
Ag11(SG)7 : A New Cluster Identified by Mass Spectrometry and Optical Spectroscopy

We report a one-step and high yield synthesis of a red-luminescent silver cluster with the molecular formula, Ag11(SG)7 (SG: glutathionate) via reduction of silver ions by sodium borohydride in the presence of the tripeptide, glutathione (GSH). The as-prepared cluster shows prominent absorption features at 485 and 625 nm in its UV-vis absorption spectrum. Aging of the as-prepared cluster solution led to the disappearance of the 625 nm peak, followed by broadening of the 485 nm peak to give three maxima at ?487, 437, and 393 nm in its absorption spectrum. Mana bakalaura darba tēma ir „Nākotnes perspektīvas suverēnās labklājības fondu darbībā Persijas Līča Sadarbības Padomes reģionā”. Mērķis ir izpētīt, suverēnās labklājības fondu attīstību nākotnē. Uzdevumi - starptautiskās finanšu sistēmas raksturojums, reģiona un turētājvalstu ekonomisko rādītāju, dokumentācijas un informācijas avotu analīze. Pētījums - trīs suverēnās labklājības fondu rādītāju analīze, stratēģiju noteikšana, darbības apjoma pieauguma radītāju analīze un secinājumu veidošana. Pētījuma rezultāti apstiprina, ka suverēnās labklājības fondi Persijas Līča Sadarbības padomes reģionā ir valstu alternatīva nākotnes paaudžu labklājības veidošanā.

International audience; This paper describes the scientific validation of the first version of global biophysical products (i.e., leaf area index, fraction of absorbed photosynthetically active radiation and fraction of vegetation cover), namely GEOV1, developed in the framework of the geoland-2/BioPar core mapping service at 1 km spatial resolution and 10-days temporal frequency. En aquest article presentem una anàlisi de les sis adaptacions que del Llibre de les Bèsties (1287- 1289) es van publicar per al públic infantil i juvenil amb motiu de l’Any Llull (2015-2016). Després de presentar la figura de Ramon Llull com a escriptor de referència en l’època medieval i de situar Llibre de les Bèsties dins de la producció literària de Llull, analitzem els paratextos extratextuals i textuals de les sis adaptacions aquí estudiades.
