Two new biologically active triterpenoidal saponins acylated with salicylic acid from Albizia adianthifolia

2003

International audience; Two new oleanane-type triterpene saponins, adianthifoliosides A (1) and B (2), were isolated from a 95% ethanolic extract of roots of Albizia adianthifolia. Their structures were elucidated mainly by using a combination of 600 MHz 1D and 2D NMR techniques (COSY, NOESY, TOCSY, HSQC, and HMBC) and by FABMS and HRESIMS. Compounds 1 and 2 were characterized as glycosides of acacic acid acylated by an o-hydroxybenzoyl unit. The crude saponin mixture (CSM), compounds 1 and 2 together with 3 and 4 (prosapogenins obtained from the mild alkaline hydrolysate of the CSM), were evaluated for immunomodulatory activity on the Jurkat T cell line and for hemolytic property against s…

LEADER en España : desarrollo rural, poder, legitimación, aprendizaje y nuevas estructuras

2000

2011

The power on a sport event management : the rugby World Cup 2007 This article presents, by a model of the power, the relations between sports organizations. This model will lean on Machiavelli, Galbraith and Baechler’s papers. It has been tested on the particular case of the French rugby world cup 2007. A semantic analysis of the data will show a particular power present in the relations. The brought to light of power, in a precise case of sport, will allow any organization to understand with more efficiency its relations of power.

Climate change effects on trematodiases, with emphasis on zoonotic fascioliasis and schistosomiasis.

2009

The capacity of climatic conditions to modulate the extent and intensity of parasitism is well known since long ago. Concerning helminths, among the numerous environmental modifications giving rise to changes in infections, climate variables appear as those showing a greater influence, so that climate change may be expected to have an important impact on the diseases they cause. However, the confirmation of the impact of climate change on helminthiases has been reached very recently. Only shortly before, helminthiases were still noted as infectious diseases scarcely affected by climate change, when compared to diseases caused by microorganisms in general (viruses, bacteriae, protozoans). Th…

The wild boar (Sus scrofa Linnaeus, 1758) as secondary reservoir of Fasciola hepatica in Galicia (NW Spain)

2013

Fasciolosis is an emerging or reemerging human and animal disease in numerous parts of the world. In Galicia (NW, Spain), the wild boar (Sus scrofa) is the main wild ungulate in terms of abundance and distribution. Its population has continuously increased over the past decades and this population growth has been accompanied by a reduction of habitats, so that the wild boar populations encroach more and more frequently onto agricultural lands. The increase of the interface area between livestock and the wild boars frequently involves the sharing of pastures and water sources, so that the circulation of common pathogens is propitiated. This is the first report concerning the importance of th…

2000

This thesis studies the entrance to firms of the science Ph.D graduates, notably as industrial researcher. Particularly, the impacts of collaborations between the academic sphere and the industry are examined. In this perspective, the first part is dedicated to the elaboration of a frame of analysis. This one establish links between the process of production of the knowledge, the training and the access to the labour market. The analysis of the preparation of the doctorate allows to define both the attributes common to all science Ph.D graduates, and the specific characteristics engendered by the existence of industrial collaborations. The study of the determinants of the access to employme…
