This text is part of the author’s research on the literary culture of the nineteenth-century Upper Silesia. The author shows that at the forefront of modern Europe (at the beginning of industrialization and urbanization of the continent) the autochthon writers of Upper Silesia undertook actions aimed at fostering cultural awareness amongst their compatriots, who were considered to belong to a national minority, in order to instil patriotic feelings in them. The paper discusses the presence of the women's movement in Bośnia and Herzegovina after the Dayton Peace Agreement. The main purpose of the article is to find an answer to the question how feminism after the disintegration of Yugoslavia was developed in Bośnia. During the war and after 1995 there were a number of women's anti-war organizations, which often did not define themselves as a feminist, but in fact were. Valodas apguve parasti notiek, izmantojot četras prasmes: klausīšanos, runāšanu, lasīšanu un rakstīšanu. Rakstīšana tiek uzskatīta par visgrūtāk apgūstamo prasmi. Dienasgrāmatas tika izvēlētas par darbarīku, lai uzlabotu skolēnu rakstītprasmi ar atspoguļojošās rakstīšanas palīdzību. Diplomdarba mērķis bija noskaidrot, kā dienasgrāmatu rakstīšana varētu uzlabot 7. Klases skolēnu rakstītprasmi. Lai sasniegtu šo mērķi, 2016. Gada pavasara semestrī Ogres Valsts ģimnāzijā tika veikts pētījums ar trīspadsmit septītās klases skolēniem. Klasē tika izmēģināti seši dažādi dienasgrāmatu rakstīšanas veidi. Tā kā reklāmas jēdziens visbiežāk ir pētīts mārketinga jomā, šī darba mērķis bija uzzināt, kāda ir humora loma drukātā reklāmā. Darbs fokusējās uz modificēto iespraudumiem izmantošanu smieklīgās reklāmās, jo šis instruments ietver netiešo nozīmi. Texts on labels are important because they form the main component of a museum’s communication model. The aim of this paper is to present and analyze how museums use texts to stimulate active involvement of their visitors. Their conclusions, based on analyses of museum texts in historical and art exhibitions, are as follows: museums use catchy titles to draw visitors’ attention; museums use active voice and emotive words to build more personal comment; museums use quotations to build connection between people and objects or history; museums place objects in cultural context.
