Il contributo analizza manufatti d'arte decorativa siciliana, in particolare coralli barocchi e argenti rococò, commissionati da Cavalieri dell'Ordine di Malta che oggi si trovano in importanti collezioni melitensi. The essay deals with Sicilian decorative artefacts, in particular baroque corals and rococo silverware, commissioned by Knights of the Order of Malta, which are now found in important collections in Malta.

Il lavoro esamina le diverse fasi di costruzione della chiesa e del complesso monastico di santa Maria Maddalena di Corleone, importante centro dell’entroterra siciliano, soffermandosi in particolare all’età moderna. Le inedite fonti archivistiche indagate oltre ad individuare le maestranze impegnate nei lavori fanno emergere importanti artisti. Objective: This study assessed the treatment preferences among Latin-American psychiatrists for their bipolar disorder patients and if these preferences reflect the current guidelines. Methods: We designed a survey comprised of fourteen questions. All the questions were aimed at the treatment of bipolar I patients only. We distributed the survey by hand or e-mail to psychiatrists in eight different countries: Argentina, Brasil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, México, Perú and Venezuela. In order to advance in the study of positive body image among different cultures, it is important to create culturally appropriate measures. We examined the psychometric properties of a Latin-American Spanish translation of the Body Appreciation Scale-2 (BAS-2; Tylka & Wood-Barcalow, 2015a), specifically assessing measurement invariance using a large sample of 3845 male and female adolescents from Argentina, Mexico, and Colombia.
