To achieve the aim, such qualitative and quantitative methods of research as comparing, grouping, graphical analysis and focus group methods were be used. Women’s Multifaceted Citizenship : Identity, Belonging and Spaces of Participation in Rural Uganda

This article analyses manifestations of women’s citizenship in diverse spaces of everyday participation in the rural districts of Kiboga and Namutumba in Uganda. Building on citizenship studies scholarship, we propose the notion of multifaceted citizenship, which ‘takes place’ in the same spaces of participation as processes of identity formation and belonging. Thus, our article also explores how identities and belonging manifest in spaces of participation. Drawing on content analysis of 50 qualitative interviews, we begin by investigating the spaces of participation that are experienced as meaningful by women. This article explores how being a citizen is inexorably bound up with the resources individuals own and deploy to support livelihoods in the rural locations of postcolonial states. Drawing on the works of Kabeer (2006) and Baglioni (2016), the article zooms in on how citizenship is manifestly and inescapably material in the Busoga subregion of eastern Uganda. Data for the article were collected using qualitative methods among beneficiaries of antipoverty programmes implemented by Action for Development (ACFODE), a national non-governmental organization (NGO). Intensified job demands and job performance : does SOC strategy use make a difference?

We examined intensified job demands (IJDs) and selecting-optimizing-compensating (SOC) strategies as predictors of job performance (task performance, organizational citizenship behavior). We also investigated SOC strategy use as a moderator in the linkages between IJDs and performance. We sampled three disparate occupational groups (N=4,582). We found that certain dimensions of IJDs showed significant associations with the indicators of job performance but there were also scale-based variations in these linkages, depending on the type of performance and on the sub-scale of IJDs. Mazadaptīvas personības iezīmes saistībā ar organizācijas pilsonisko uzvedību tieši nav pētītas, ir pieejami pētījumi par personības ietekmi uz darba sniegumu vai uzvedību darbā. Šī darba mērķis ir noskaidrot vai un kādas saistības pastāv starp mazadaptīvām personības iezīmēm un organizācijas pilsonisko uzvedību. Pētījumā piedalījās 70 respondenti (15 vīrieši un 55 sievietes), izmantojot DSM-V personības aptauju (saīsaināto versiju) un organizācijas pilsoniskās uzvedības skalu, tika secināts, ka starp mazadaptīvām personības iezīmēm un organizācijas pilsonisko uzvedību pastāv negatīvas, statistiski nozīmīgas saistības.
