Water-extractable organic matter linked to soil physico-chemistry and microbiology at the regional scale

10 pages; International audience; A better understanding of the links between dissolved organic matter and biogeochemical processes in soil could help in evaluating global soil dynamics. To assess the effects of land cover and parental material on soil biogeochemistry, we studied 120 soil samples collected from various ecosystems in Burgundy, France. The potential solubility and aromaticity of dissolved organic matter was characterised by pressurised hot-water extraction of organic carbon (PH-WEOC). Survey and Photogrammetric Restitution of Monumental Complexes: Issues and Solutions—The Case of the Manfredonic Castle of Mussomeli

The latest results obtained through photogrammetric restitution enhanced by GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) survey achieved increased levels of accuracy. These survey solutions are used to rapidly obtain a detailed model with an excellent level of accuracy (centimetric) with cheaper equipment. 3D Printed Palladium Catalyst for Suzuki-Miyaura Cross-coupling Reactions

Selective laser sintering (SLS) 3d printing was utilized to manufacture a solid catalyst for Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reactions from polypropylene as a base material and palladium nanoparticles on silica (SilicaCat Pd(0)R815-100 by SiliCycle) as the catalytically active additive. The 3d printed catalyst showed similar activity to that of the pristine powdery commercial catalyst, but with improved practical recoverability and reduced leaching of palladium into solution. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist eine kontrastive Analyse von PWG an Hand von zwei Diskurstraditionen, einer juristischen und einer historischen, während des 13., 14. und 15.Jahrhunderts. Strong BV-extension and W1,1-extension domains

We show that a bounded domain in a Euclidean space is a $W^{1,1}$-extension domain if and only if it is a strong $BV$-extension domain. In the planar case, bounded and strong $BV$-extension domains are shown to be exactly those $BV$-extension domains for which the set $\partial\Omega \setminus \bigcup_{i} \overline{\Omega}_i$ is purely $1$-unrectifiable, where $\Omega_i$ are the open connected components of $\mathbb{R}^2\setminus\overline{\Omega}$.

Mossbauer spectroscopic study of the thermal spin crossover in [Fe(II)(isoxazole)(6)](ClO(4))(2)

The (57)Fe Mossbauer spectroscopy of mononuclear [Fe(II)(isoxazole)(6)](ClO(4))(2) has been studied to reveal the thermal spin crossover of Fe(II) between low-spin (S = 0) and high-spin (S = 2) states.Temperature-dependent spin transition curves have been constructed with the least-square fitted data obtained from the Mossbauer spectra measured at various temperatures between 84 and 270 K during a cooling and heating cycle. This compound exhibits an unusual temperature-dependent spin transition behaviour with T(C)(down arrow) = 223 and T(C)(up arrow) = 213 K occurring in the reverse order in comparison to those observed in SQUID observation and many other spin transition compounds.
