ABSTRACTThis study was done to examine the transition of deaf and hard-of-hearing (DHH) and hearing students from the first cycle (Grade 4) to the second cycle (Grade 5) of primary education in Ethiopia. Academic achievement and self-concept were measured longitudinally with 103 DHH and hearing students. Participants were selected from three different settings (special schools, special classes and regular schools). Self-Description Questionnaire I (Marsh, H. W. 1990. The essay comments on the recent European legislation on a pan-European Personal Pension Product which aims to remedy the poor development of the market for these products also in the light of the welfare state's crisis. The essay criticizes some choices of the European legislator as they contrast with the objective of creating a single competitive market for pan-European individual pension products; the choices of the regulation on the protection of savers are also criticized, and finally the essay assume that as a consequence of the choices of the European legislator intermediaries will bear the costs of financial inclusion.

Al Dipartimento di Architettura dell’Università degli Studi di Palermo, il Direttore – il professore Andrea Sciascia – ha proposto di sperimentare una didattica intensiva per i laboratori di progettazione architettonica di terzo anno a partire dall’anno accademico 2019 – 2020 (i laboratori sono condotti dai docenti Gianfranco Tuzzolino, Adriana Sarro e Luciana Macaluso). This paper revisits two teacher-education contexts which we independently researched. Both contexts invested in teacher-professional transformation, presenting unique puzzles in our respective data analyses. Bringing together Bakhtinian dialogic theory and Natural Inclusionality (Rayner, 2017), we return to these puzzles in a reflective dialogue. The paper unpacks two emergent themes. The first theme details our sense-making of the dialogic-dialectic-dialogic flow as part of professional development, and the second theme captures our deliberations about the energy-filled spaces of the in-between that form part of teacher development in our contexts. Abstract The economic growth and national competitiveness is closely correlated with the development of information society. In the last few years the role of public libraries has significantly increased and libraries have greatly contributed to the improvement of information society in Latvia. The usage of library services had never been as high as they were in 2011 – 42% of the population were active library users and 90% of them used the Internet. Nowadays, the public library network in Latvia provides a powerful network of information, knowledge and community centres and they are highly demanded by society.
