Induction of cytochrome P450 isoenzymes in cultured precision-cut rat and human liver slices

The effect of some xenobiotics on levels of selected cytochrome P450 (CYP) isoenzymes determined by Western immunoblotting and associated enzyme activities has been studied in 72-h cultured rat and human precision-cut liver slices. 2. In cultured rat liver slices, 0.5 mM sodium phenobarbitone (PB), 25 microM beta-naphthoflavone (BNF), and 20 micrograms/ml Aroclor 1254 (ARO) induced mixed-function oxidase enzyme activities. Western immunoblotting of liver slice microsomes was performed with antibodies to rat CYP1A2, 2B1/2 and 3A. Valoración aristotélico-argumentativa del caso Iguala, a propósito de la Comisión por la Verdad y la Justicia

En la presente investigación se analiza la fundamentación de la sentencia de amparo en revisión 203/2017 del Caso Iguala, en su resolución de conformar una comisión investigadora de la verdad y la justicia, para esclarecer y resolver el caso de los 43 desaparecidos. Desde la teoría aristotélica de la argumentación se busca estudiar la sentencia y decantar sus resultados lógico-argumentales a partir de dicho modelo hermenéutico. Finalmente, se evaluará su racionalidad de acuerdo con el paradigma tríadico: analítico-dialéctico-retórico que compone la lógica de Aristóteles, para ver si los argumentos presentados se justifican y convencen en sí mismos.

The article examines the occasional genres flourished during the French domination in Naples (1806-1815). The new Napoleonic dinasty needed to obtain public consent, and so adopted old and new strategies of communication. The ability to respire nitrate when oxygen is limited has been described in taxonomically diverse microorganisms including members of the alpha-, beta-, gamma- and epsilon-proteobacteria, high and low GC Gram-positive bacteria and even Archaea. Respiratory nitrate reduction is the first step of the denitrification pathway, which is important since it is the main biological process responsible for the return of fixed nitrogen to the atmosphere, thus completing the nitrogen cycle.
