La variación en la cortesía: estudio pragmalingüístico del fenómeno en el español castellano

Resumen: En este trabajo, se presentan los resultados de un análisis de las estrategias de cortesía empleadas por nativos españoles en su lengua L1 (español castellano), la expresión de diferentes actos de habla: la petición, la negación, la instrucción, la queja y el mandato. La actividad se ha desarrollado mediante un TCD. Se pidió a los encuestados que rellenaran diferentes enunciados a partir de un cortometraje animado mudo. A cada enunciado se solicitaba al informante que asociara el grado de cordialidad de cada escena. Successive education reforms of advanced-level music teaching have greatly increased the workload of future professionals. However, these reforms have not brought about curricular changes in the work situation, clearly related to teaching at different levels. This article offers a comparative analysis of the curricula of the different autonomous communities, and concludes with a number of suggestions on how to improve educational training for clarinet graduates.

Empowering education professionals with twenty-first century skills through master's of education dissertation/thesis work

This paper aims to explore the potential role of Master’s of Education dissertation/thesis work in developing twenty-first century skills. A total of 600 education professionals studying Master’s of Education programmes in five countries – Poland, Portugal, England, Latvia, and Romania – were surveyed. The findings have revealed that participants recognise the usefulness of twenty-first century skills for their (future) professional practice, and perceive dissertation/thesis work as a valuable foundation for developing these skills. How do we assess in Clinical Legal Education? A 'reflection' about reflective learning

I suggest this hypothesis and these premises from the perspective of my experience in Clinical Legal Education and the use of experiential learning methods in other 'traditional' courses. Firstly, institutional assessment must be distinguished from the assessment of learning. Traditionally, assessment is reduced to institutional assessment: that is, to give a mark depending on the achievement of knowledge instead of focusing in the student's learning. Process-and context-sensitive research on academic knowledge practices

The Contextual Activity Sampling System (CASS) methodology and CASS-Query tools have been developed for the investigation of learning and working practices. The CASS-methods and tools provide contextualized data that allow the analyzing and modeling of within-person changes across time. This paper describes a pilot study with 3G mobiles used by eight engineering students. Students answered questionnaires concerning their ongoing study projects, academic emotions, and collaboration, with a mobile phone five times a day for a period of two weeks (70 queries per person).
