In this paper, through the study of some terms present in the novel Fortunata y Jacinta by Galdós that refer to the medical and pharmaceutical field, we want to carry out a reflection on some ‘best practices’ that the translator can use in his rewriting work, considered as the result of a cognitive operation, a complex intrigue of acquisition, categorization, reflective observation, elaboration, experimentation and creation of emotional-motivational dynamics which has, as its ultimate product, the recreation of the metatext. Our didactic experiences in the field of architectural design, in courses that have always had a strong workshop character, have been varied in recent years and have been carried out in different variants that, when considered as a whole, allow us to reflect on the problems and the challenges faced during the pandemic. This article describes the main results of an ethnographic study on citizen participation carried out in the context of the development of the Urban Initiative (2007-2015): Cuenca-Barrio de San Antón. Managed by the City Council of Cuenca and financed by the European Regional Development Funds (FEDER) under the Ministry of Economy and Finance at the Government of Spain The results of the research show how in the context of the application of neoliberal policies, citizen participation becomes the trigger for new conflicts between institutions and citizens. In Swedish nine-year compulsory schooling, all students are supposed to learn English and at least one additional language, i.e., French, Spanish, or German. As a final option, extra Swedish and/or English classes, often called SvEn, are offered for students who choose not to study another language. The activities in SvEn are unregulated: there are no official instructions for the teachers, no set teaching goals (over and above those for regular Swedish and English classes), and no grading criteria, as students choosing SvEn are not graded in this language choice.
