Resum: Aquest article analitza l’estructura de la teoria evolutiva i les discussions produides als seu voltant en les ultimes decades. En primer lloc, presente l’anomenada “interpretacio de forces” o “analogia newtoniana” i la seua estructura basada en l’elaboracio de tres lleis fonamentals. Mes endavant, mostre les critiques a aquesta interpretacio per diferents autors, en especial l’anomenada “versio estadistica” de la teoria evolutiva. Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Bioloģiskās daudzveidības interpretācija meža resursu lietošanas gadījumos Latvijā” un mērķis ir uzzināt iedzīvotāju, to starp mežu īpašnieku, vides speciālistu un mežu uzņēmumu u.c. aģentu bioloģiskās daudzveidības interpretāciju meža resursu lietošanas gadījumos. Pētījumu rezultātu iegūšanai tika izmantota tiešsaistes aptauja un daļēji strukturētās intervijas. Bakalaura darbā tika izmantota aģentu tīkla teorija, kas skaidro dažādu iesaistīto aģentu savstarpējo mijiedarbību. Human milk (HM) is a complex biofluid containing a wide cell variety including epithelial cells and leukocytes. However, the cellular compositions and their phenotypic properties over the course of lactation are poorly understood. The aim of this preliminary study was to characterize the cellular metabolome of HM over the course of lactation. Cells were isolated via centrifugation and the cellular fraction was characterized via cytomorphology and immunocytochemical staining. Bicausative matrices to measure structural change: Are they a good tool?

The causative-matrix method to analyze temporal change assumes that a matrix transforms one Markovian transition matrix into another by a left multiplication of the first matrix; the method is demand-driven when applied to input-output economics. An extension is presented without assuming the demand-driven or supply-driven hypothesis. Starting from two flow matrices X and Y, two diagonal matrices are searched, one premultiplying and the second postmultiplying X, to obtain a result the closer as possible to Y by least squares. Desaturase activities are depleted before and after weaning in liver microsomes of spontaneously hypertensive rats

Abstract In the present study, we have investigated the microsomal linoleic acid desaturation steps into arachidonic acid in 10- and 30-day-old spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR), as compared to their normotensive control rats, Wistar Kyoto (WKY). Suckled by adoptive Wistar normotensive female, the SHR and WKY were fed the same diet. Our results show lower Δ6 and Δ5 desaturase activities (the limiting steps in the bioconversion of linoleic acid into arachidonic acid) in the young SHR, as compared to the WKY normotensive rats.
