In my article I present a spectacle of a director who, as one of many theatre artists, was able to connect interests of literature with historiosophy included in works worth to present on a stage. It was an excellent performer of the Polish theatre – Jerzy Jarocki – who died in 2012. The artist was fascinated with Russian history which bloomed during his studies on Russian Academy of Theatre Arts – one of the biggest theatre schools in the world. The object of this paper is to look at the extent and nature of the uses of analogy during the first century following the so-called scientific revolution.Using the research tool provided by JSTOR we systematically analyze the uses of “analog” and its cognates (analogies, analogous, etc.) in the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society of London for the period 1665–1780. Artykuł jest poświęcony Fridzie Kahlo. Meksykańska malarka współcześnie jest znana głównie z przekazów jako żona wielkiego muralisty Diega Rivery, czy też kobieta romansująca z Lwem Trockim. Pomija się jednakże jej świadomą postawę polityczną, która materializowała się w jej twórczości, ale i np. w praktykach edukacyjnych. Za sprawą kategorii polityczności można wyłuszczyć te polityczne elementy. Relacyjne nacechowanie tejże kategorii prowadzi do rozpoznania kluczowego kontekstu, jakim była rewolucja meksykańska, której program zarazem wyjaśnia polityczność sfer współzależnych ze sferą polityki, w tym sztuki i zaangażowania społecznego F. Kahlo.

The purpose of my research is to demonstrate how and why Grotowski was involved with the politics and political system in Communist Poland – not only to what extent he was compromised but to what extent he compromised the authorities. I am especially concerned with determining the levels of risk, professional and personal, to which Grotowski was exposed, and what extent the Polish Secret Police and Communist Party were involved.
