W czasie II wojny światowej w niemieckiej niewoli przetrzymywanych było około 20 tys. polskich oficerów. Więzieni byli w pierwszych latach niewoli w kilkunastu, a od końca 1942 r. czterech oflagach: II C Woldenberg (Dobiegniew), VIIA Murnau, II D Gross Born (Borne Sulinowo), VI B Dóssel. Oficerowie zawodowi stanowili około 35% jeńców oflagów. W specyficznych warunkach, w jakich się znaleźli, wyłączeni czasowo z walki, dalej pozostawali żołnierzami. Opaque Distribution Channels for Competing Service Providers: Posted Price vs. Name-Your-Own-Price Mechanisms

Opaque selling has been widely adopted by service providers in the travel industry to sell off leftover capacity under stochastic demand. We consider a two-stage model to study the impact of different selling mechanisms, posted price (PP) versus name-your-own-price (NYOP), of an opaque reseller on competing service providers who face forward-looking customers. We find that in this environment, providers prefer that the opaque reseller uses a posted price instead of a bidding model. This is because the ability to set retail prices is critical for extracting surplus from customers who wait to purchase from the reseller. W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań gospodarstw domowych w Polsce dotyczących wybranych uwarunkowań samooceny ich sytuacji materialnej. W szczególności uwzględniono wprowadzone w kwietniu 2016 roku świadczenie wychowawcze w ramach programu Rodzina 500+. W tym celu przeprowadzono analizę porównawczą relacji między samooceną a dochodami, wydatkami konsumpcyjnymi i wybranymi charakterystykami gospodarstw zaliczanych do grupy wychowujących dzieci. Analiza wykazała, że istnieje silna zależność oceny własnej sytuacji ekonomicznej gospodarstw zarówno od uzyskiwanych dochodów, jak i wydatków konsumpcyjnych. Evaluation of metacognitive regulation skills in writing tasks in L1 and EFL in pre-service teachers

The objective of this thesis is to diagnose the strategies of metacognitive control in writing of pre-service teachers (PSTs) in the deferred revision of two writing tasks in L1 (Spanish/Catalan) and English as a foreign language (EFL). Two exploratory studies were designed. In the first one, ninety-eight (N=98) PSTs took part they were split into higher (B2&C1) or lower (A1-B1) EFL proficiency and wrote either an essay (knowledge-transforming) or a summary (knowledge-telling) in their L1 or EFL. Examining pre-service teachers' Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge as evolving knowledge domains : A longitudinal approach

The aim of this study is to outline the development and changes in pre‐service teachers' technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) assessments during the first 3 years in teacher education. Specifically, research was conducted at three measurement points over a 3‐year teacher education period. The target group consisted of pre‐service teachers (N = 148) from three Finnish universities. Results indicate a growth in confidence related to all TPACK areas during the research period. The strongest gains were in pedagogical content knowledge. Recently, the large-scale reforms of special education have been carried out in many countries. This study focuses on the latest Finnish reform of special education in compulsory education. As principals lead educational reforms in schools, their role in the implementation of reform is significant. The study explores principals’ views on the changes in support arrangements after the educational reform.
