The Math Teaching at School means to reflect on the pedagogical and didactical traditions that are present in the classroom didactical practice; cultural references emerging since the first years of the kindergarden. This work claims to discuss a possible epistemic reflection on our way of working in School through a possible comparison with a didactic setting very different from ours, the Chinese one. We present the practice of variation, that can be found in textbooks as a significant methodology for the teaching/learning of the mathematical thought at Kindergarten and Primary School.
Emma's mathematical thinking, problem solving and affect

International audience; This paper aims to understand one pupil's mathematical thinking through problem solving and mathematics related affect. The results reveal a successful, though quite unsure, problem solver whose affective state (connected to problem solving) seems to tell the same story as her affective trait (view of mathematics). The differences between results on affective state and trait seem to be connected mostly to emotions.
Modelling Environmental Problem-Solving Through STEAM Activities : 4Dframe's Warka Water Workshop

In this paper the Korean 4Dframe educational modelling kit’s rich capacities are presented within a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) education workshop. The workshop is an adaptation of the Warka Water social design project, launched by the architect Arturo Vittori in response to Ethiopia’s diminished sources of drinking water. Participants of the workshop will study the geometry of the Warka Water tower and understand its water harvesting technique, which is based on collecting water from the air. peerReviewed

Entre los objetivos de la Agenda 2030 se insiste en una educación que promueva una cultura de paz y no violencia, valores y actitudes que están en la base de la mediación. Pero para poder hacer realidad dicha educación, los y las docentes deberían estar formados en mediación, gestión de conflictos de manera pacífica y convivencia. En el presente estudio se analizan los currículos de Magisterio Infantil y Primaria de todas las universidades públicas y privadas españolas. El objetivo es conocer si en la formación inicial se incluyen asignaturas relacionadas con la convivencia, mediación o la gestión de conflictos.
