Thermal NDE of thick GRP panels by means of a Pulse Modulated Lock-In Thermography technique

This work describes the development and implementation of an infrared thermal NDE procedure for the evaluation of subsurface defects. The approach is called Pulse-Modulated Lock-In Thermography (PMLT) and is based on the analysis of the frequency response of the measured temperature and comparison with the carrier frequencies launched by the external heat delivering source. The heat deposited on the object is in particular modulated as a train of square waves. This is easily achieved by periodically shuttering the heat source. Sono stati analizzati tramite rilassometria NMR ed acquisizioni MRI dosimetri gel di tipo Fricke realizzati utilizzando un'innovativa matrice gel sintetica e tessuto equivalente: Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) attivando chimicamente il processo di gelificazione tramite l'aggiunta di Glutaraldehyde (GTA). Questi gel sono stati irradiati con fasci di fotoni (LINAC) nel range 0--20 Gy. Per valutare la sensibilità a fotoni è stata studiata la dipendenza dei tempi di rilassamento nucleari dalla dose e dalla concentrazione di ferro nei gel. Nella stagione 2019-20, il confronto tra varietà di frumento duro in coltura biologica è stato realizzato in 10 campi localizzati in 7 regioni del Centro-Sud (Sicilia, Sardegna, Puglia, Basilicata, Lazio, Toscana e Marche). Ai vertici della graduatoria produttiva si ritrovano RGT Rangodur, Monastir, Daurur, Marakas, Marco Aurelio e Kanakis. Per un buon equilibrio fra resa e proteina si distingue Marco Aurelio insieme ad Anco Marzio, Furio Camillo, Claudio, Monastir, Marakas e Kanakis

In 31 campi dei principali areali di coltivazione italiani sono stati valutati 38 genotipi, di cui 12 al primo anno di prova. La cultivar mediamente più produttiva è ri sultata LG anubis, al primo anno, con indice 108 e medie superate in 25 prove su 31 totali (81% dei campi), caratterizzata da peso ettolitrico e tenore proteico leggermente inferiori alle medie (-0,1 e -0,4 punti, rispettivamente).
The Preparation and Characterization of New Antazoline Salts with Dicarboxylic Acids

New antazoline salts with organic acids (fumaric acid, oxalic acid, and maleic acid) were prepared. The effect of the crystallization solvent and mechanochemical treatment on the crystalline forms of these salts was studied. Two polymorphs of antazoline hydrogen maleate were identified and their relative stability was determined. The molecular structures of antazoline hydrogen oxalate and antazoline hydrogen maleate showed differences in antazoline cation conformation. In crystal structures of all salts both imidazoline nitrogens of antazoline cation are involved in hydrogen bond formation with carboxyl groups of the acid.
Topological optimization of a structural naval component manufactured in FDM

In this paper, a topological optimization procedure has been applied on a real component of the deck of a sailing multi-hull in order to find the internal shape that best save the material used in the manufacturing process without a relevant loss of structural rigidity. The multi-hull boat is a 16 feet length catamaran equipped with an asymmetric foil on both centerboards and with a symmetric foil on both rudders. The task of the analyzed object is to act as a cylindrical support for the screw that drives the rotation of the centerboard.
