Mitä opin? Monilukutaitoa ja tutkivaa oppimista monialaisessa oppimiskokonaisuudessa

Tarkastelemme tässä artikkelissa, mitä oppilaat, opettajat ja opettajaopiskelijat raportoivat oppineensa yhdessä toteuttamassaan monialaisessa oppimiskokonaisuudessa, johon osallistuivat erään yhtenäiskoulun kaikki 5.–8. luokan oppilaat. Oppimiskokonaisuuden aihe oli terve elämä ja sitä opiskeltiin viikon ajan ikäsekoitteisissa ryhmissä tutkivan oppimisen keinoin ja monilukutaitoa harjaannuttaen. Tutkimusaineisto koostuu 250 oppilaan, 25 opettajan ja 23 opettajaopiskelijan laadullisista itsearvioinneista, ja se analysoitiin laadullisen aineistolähtöisen teoriaohjaavan sisällönanalyysin keinoin. Student teachers’ views of their own musical skills to teach the National Core Curriculum in Finland

As in many other countries, Finnish primary school teacher education has reduced substantially the amount of music studies during recent decades. From the perspective of the National Core Curriculum, there is a reason to reflect on teacher education and primary school student teachers’ skills to teach music. The present study investigates 392 student teachers’ musical skills in five different teacher training programmes in Finland. Authentic assessment as a support for student teachers’ reflection

Assessment and feedback guide learning. In light of this, the assessment practices of teacher education have received little research. This qualitative study examines student teachers’ discussions in a study unit built on authentic assessment practices: self- and peer assessment of videotapes from authentic performance with research-based rubrics. The aim is to investigate whether authentic assessment supports student teachers’ reflection and, if so, how. Tarkastelemme suomalaisen opettajan osaamista suhteessa korona-ajan tuomiin uusiin opettajuuden haasteisiin. Opettajan työ on monipuolista osaamista edellyttävää asiantuntijatyötä. Yhteiskunnan monimuotoistuminen heijastuu koulumaailmaan monella tavoin. Se näkyy erityisesti oppilaiden erilaisina kulttuureina ja uskontoina ja on luonut tarpeen kehittää liikunnanopettajien kulttuurienvälistä osaamista. Kulttuurienvälisellä osaamisella tarkoitamme muun muassa omien, kulttuurisidonnaisten ajatusmallien tiedostamista, vuorovaikutustaitoja sekä kykyä toimia eri kulttuureista tulevien ihmisten kanssa tilannekohtaisesti.
