Physical performance of Finnish futsal players, analysis of game intensity and fatigue in official futsal games

Introduction. Futsal has grown notably in last years and have over 12 million players worldwide. Futsal is a high-intensity indoor sport where burst of multi-planar movements varies with short periods of rest. Futsal is played on a court sized 40 x 20 m for two halves of 20 min, where clock is stopped when ball is out of play. Purpose of this study was to find out physical performance of Finnish futsal players and analyse intensity and fatigue in official futsal games. Methods. Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli kuvata lasten käsityksiä ja kokemuksia päiväkodissa toteutetusta STEAM-toiminnasta. STEAM-pedagogiikka on uusi oppimismenetelmä, jossa integroidaan tieteen, teknologian, taiteen ja matematiikan oppisisältöjä ja toteutetaan tutkivaa toimintaa. Contents and functions of dramatizations in team decision making

This study examines the contents and functions of dramatizations in natural team decision making. Theoretically, the study employs symbolic convergence theory to understand decision making as a complex phenomenon constructed in symbolic communication. Observational meeting data and thematic interview data from an autonomous team in Finland were analyzed. A fantasy theme analysis and an inductive, rhetorical discourse analysis revealed three rhetorical visions and seven functions of dramatizations in the team’s decision making. The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of an online affect management intervention on relationship conflict through the rate of growth of team resilience in virtual teams with diversity faultlines. Fifty-two 4-person teams participated in a randomized controlled trial design with repeated measures (i.e., three measurement occasions). Teams were randomly assigned to either an intervention designed to help them manage emotions in virtual teams or a control condition.
