Frazeoloģismu tulkošana ir viens no sarežģītākajiem uzdevumiem, ko tulkotājs var uzņemties, jo frazeoloģismi ir sarežģīti izteicieni un starp abām valodām pastāv kultūras atšķirības. Šī pētījuma mērķis ir analizēt frazeoloģismus latviešu valodas tulkojumā filmās un seriālos. Mērķa sasniegšanai tika veikta satura analīze, kurā tika analizētas sešas filmas un viens seriāls, un aptaujas pētījums, kurā tika apkopoti tulkotāju viedokļi par frazeoloģismu atveidi. Pētījumā tika konstatēts, ka visbiežāk sastopamais veids ir caurspīdīgie (transparent) frazeoloģismi un visbiežāk izmantotā tulkošanas stratēģija bija parafrāze. Šis darbs pēta dziesmu tulkošanu, par piemēru ņemot „Disney” animācijas filmas „Ledus sirds” („Frozen”, 2013) dziesmu tulkojumus no angļu valodas latviešu, krievu un franču valodā. Šī darba mērķis ir izpētīt un aprakstīt tulkošanas stratēģijas un dziesmu tulkojumu īpatnības, novērtējot tos pēc novirzes no oriģināla. Tiek novērota tulkošanas teoriju izpausme praksē, lietojot salīdzinošo analīzi, kas balstās uz P. Lova „pentatlona metodi” (2005) un E. Summary: Carbon catabolite derepression induced changes in the pool of yeast mRNAs translatable in a protein-synthesizing reticulocyte system. Competition experiments with globin mRNA showed that the mRNA population obtained from derepressed cells possessed a higher translational efficiency than mRNA from repressed cells. The mRNAs that could account for the high translational efficiency of the derepressed mRNA were not detected in cells growing in glucose-rich medium. Understanding a science and math word problem means constructing mental representations at different levels of abstraction. Secondary students have dificulties solving algebraic word problems due to the transition from the concrete representation to the mathematic representation. In order to facilitate the «algebraic translation» of the problems, we adapt a «rule to put a problem into equations» by Puig (1998) and insert it in an experimental methodology devoted to improving the inter-domain transfer in science. Results show the power of the instructional methodology to overcome most of the students’ dificulties, no matters their average academic performance.
