Bakalaura darba mērķis ir analizēt Latvijas un Igaunijas politisko attiecību veidošanās procesu mijiedarbībā ar Baltijas reģiona ģeopolitisko kontekstu laika posmā no 1919. līdz 1925. gadam. Darba ietvaros tika analizētas Latvijas un Igaunijas politiskās attiecības kā Baltijas reģiona ģeopolitikas procesu sastāvdaļa, pastiprinātu uzmanību pievēršot multilaterālās sadarbības idejas attīstībai laika posmā no 1919. līdz 1925. gadam. Darba rezultātā tika identificēti Latvijas un Igaunijas bilaterālo attiecību veidošanās pamatprincipi, kā arī analizēta to ietekme un mijiedarbība ar plašākā reģiona ģeopolitiskajām norisēm.

Here, combined experimental and theoretical studies performed on a photocage based on the commercial UVA filter avobenzone (AB) and on the photosensitizing non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug ketoprofen (KP) are presented unveiling the photophysical processes responsible for the light-triggered release. Abstract Soft Sensors (SSs) are mathematical models that allow real-time estimation of hard-to-measure variables as a function of easy-to-measure ones in an industrial process, emulating the behavior of existing sensors when they are, for instance, taken off for maintenance. The Sulfur Recovery Unit (SRU) from a refinery is taken in exam. Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN) can capture the nonlinearity of such process but present a high complexity training and a very time-consuming structure optimization. For this reason, strategies to use pre-existing models are here examined by testing the transferability of the SSs between two parallel lines of the process.

The present study addresses this gap by undertaking a mixed-method study to examining a broad spectrum of diners’ behaviour, beginning from planning the meal and ending with bringing the leftovers home. The influence of the addition of graphene nanoplatelets (GNPs) on the intra/inter – molecular segmental motions of poly(ethylene-co-vinyl alcohol) (EVOH) was assessed by means of dielectric thermal analysis (DETA). The relaxation spectra were studied in terms of the dielectric permittivity (ε′) and the dielectric loss tangent (tan δ) at wide ranges of frequency (from 10−2 to 107 Hz) and temperature (from -150 to 140 °C). Two relaxation zones were disthinguished. BACKGROUND: The optimal length of stay (LOS) in patients hospitalized for acute heart failure (AHF) remains controversial. Plasma antigen carbohydrate 125 (CA125) has emerged as a reliable proxy of congestion. We aimed to evaluate whether there is a differential impact of LOS on the risk of 6-month AHF readmission across CA125 levels. METHODS: This is a retrospective study that included 1,387 patients discharged for AHF in two third-level centers. CA125 was measured 48±24h after admission. The association between CA125 and LOS with the risk of subsequent AHF readmission at 6 months was analyzed by Cox regression analysis accounting for death as a competing event.
