Die Briefe in diesem Kapitel wurden in der Zeit geschrieben, bevor Brouwer in die Redaktion der Annalen eintrat. Sie dokumentieren u.a., wie Blumenthal zunehmend in den Kontroversen um Brouwer verwickelt wurde. In dem kurzen Zeitraum von 1910 bis 1913 veroffentlichte Brouwer seine revolutionaren topologischen Aufsatze in den Annalen. Ruckblickend urteilte Brouwer hieruber „viele meiner Arbeiten hatte ich ohne [Blumenthal] nicht geschrieben“. Da eingehende Erlauterungen entschieden zu weit fuhren wurden, werden in den Kommentaren zu diesen Briefen nur gewisse Hauptpunkte erklart, die fur ein Verstandnis der wichtigsten Streitfragen unerlasslich sind.

Finnish society has faced many changes during the past decade. One major change has been the increasing number of students speaking languages other than the national ones. This chapter provides an overview of the immigrant student population in Finland, including its change during the last decades. Stimulation parameters are most often empiric and not based on systematic studies. Purpose: To assess the visual quality achieved by fitting corneo-scleral contact lenses (CScL) for keratoconus management. Methods: Thirty patients with keratoconus presented to have CScL fitted because of the unsatisfactory visual quality they experienced with their contact lenses or spectacles. The eye examination included visual acuity assessment, anterior eye biomicroscopy, ocular fundus examination, corneal topographic analysis, endothelialcell count, contrast sensitivity and aberrometry. Nuclear viscosity is an indispensable ingredient of the nuclear fission collective dynamical models. It governs the exchange of energy between the collective variables and the thermal bath. Its dependence on the shape and temperature is a matter of controversy. Darba mērķis: Izveidot jaunu hromatiskas modulācijas kontrastjutības datorizēto testu un aprobēt testu cilvēkiem ar krāsu redzes defektiem un bez krāsu redzes defektiem.
