Ievads: Visā pasaulē galvas traumas ir viens no lielākajiem mirstības un invaliditātes cēloņiem visās vecuma grupās un sastāda apmēram 30% no nāves gadījumiem, kas radušies traumu rezultātā. Latvijā galvas traumas gada laikā vidēji gūst ap 440 uz 100 000 iedzīvotājiem un jaunu cilvēku grupā līdz 40 gadiem tas ir galvenais nāves cēlonis. Pēdējo gadu laikā moderno tehnoloģiju izmantošana ir kļuvusi populāra arī pirmsskolā. Šī iemesla dēļ diplomdarba mērķis ir izpētīt, kā moderno tehnoloģiju sniegtās iespējas var palīdzēt apgūt angļu valodas vārdu krājumu 5-6 gadu veciem bērniem. Tika veikts atsevišķa gadījuma pētījums Salaspils bērnudārzā “Jāņtārpiņš”. Pētījums ilga divus mēnešus, un tajā piedalījās 17 piecus un sešus gadus veci bērni un viņu vecāki. Fotogrāfiju koplietošanas mājaslapas “Piclr” sākotnējais mērķis bija bilžu glabāšana sistēmā un koplietošana starp atsevišķiem un visiem mājaslapas lietotājiem. Šī brīža ietvaros “Piclr” nodrošina bilžu un albūmu glabāšanu un dzēšanu datu bāzē, kā arī cita lietotāja galerijas aplūkošanu. Projekts ir realizēts Java EE 8 tīmekļa lietotņu izstrādes platformā un MySQL 5.7 datu bāzu vadības sistēmā. Lietotne tika izvietota uz WildFly 10.1 servera. Galvenie 8 sistēmas moduļi ir: Reģistrēšanas/pieslēgšanas modulis, paroles atjaunošanas modulis, galerijas modulis, koplietošanas modulis, profila modulis, ziņojumu modulis, meklētāja modulis un administratora modulis.

TrpM, a small protein of 63 amino acids, is encoded by a gene of the trpCMBA locus involved in tryptophan biosynthesis in the model actinomycete Streptomyces coelicolor. Indeed, the trpM knock-out mutant strain is characterized by a delayed growth on minimal medium, smaller aerial hyphae, and reduction of both spore and antibiotic actinorhodin production in comparison with the wild-type strain. These observations are in agreement with proteomic analyses which highlighted a role for TrpM in controlling i) tryptophan production through precursor availability and, thus ii) bacterial growth and morpho-physiological differentiation. In regards to restorative justice, Italian judicial system is one-step behind in respect to other systems. Conflict is traditionally based on an authoritative model, which is slowly and gradually opening up to a conciliationkind model. Our system also, which is still strongly based on penal action compulsoriness principle, is starting to be acquainted with these different models. At a legislative level, restorative justice is still not fully recognized. But by considering restorative justice as a tool including any conciliation or reparation formality, there are other institutions, foreseen and disciplined by Italian code of criminal procedure, that lead back to it.

Its biogenic meromixis (originated ca.1660) is favoured by the high relative depth and the steep doline walls. Calcium and magnesium bicarbonate are the main salts. We present a new colorization method to assign color to a grayscale image based on a reference color image using texture descriptors and Improved Simple Linear Iterative Clustering (ISLIC). Mast cells (MCs) are innate immune cells that exert positive and negative immune modulatory functions capable to enhance or limit the intensity and/or duration of adaptive immune responses. Although MCs are crucial to regulate T cell immunity, their action in the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases is still debated. Here we demonstrate that MCs play a crucial role in T1D pathogenesis so that their selective depletion in conditional MC knockout NOD mice protects them from the disease. Structural evolution of CO2 filled pure silica LTA zeolite under high-pressure high-temperature conditions

[EN] The crystal structure of CO2-filled pure-SiO2 LTA zeolite has been studied at high pressures and temperatures using synchrotron-based X-ray powder diffraction. Its structure consists of 13 CO2 guest molecules, 12 of them accommodated in the large alpha-cages and one in the beta-cages, giving a SiO2/CO2 stoichiometric ratio smaller than 2. The structure remains stable under pressure up to 20 GPa with a slight pressure-dependent rhombohedral distortion, indicating that pressure-induced amorphization is prevented by the insertion of guest species in this open framework.
