Strange vegetation: Emotional undercurrents of Tove Jansson’s Moominvalley in November

This article investigates the emotional undercurrents of Tove Jansson’s Moominvalley in November. I argue that one of the main characters of Jansson’s book is the autumn forest that surrounds the abandoned Moomin house. The decomposing forest is not just an emblem of the inner lives of the guests that gather in the house but is an active character itself: an ambiguous life form that creeps in the house and must be expelled from its living core. I further demonstrate that the emotion of disgust has a crucial role in Jansson’s narrative, and that an adequate analysis of the intentional content of disgust allows us to see what is at issue in the relations between the characters. Dotajā darbā tiek meklēti neekstremālie atrisinājumi, kuri atbilst Dionu BIoniem vai citiem solitonu tipa atrisinājumiem. Kā zināms Dž. Švarca \cite{Schwarz:2014zsa}, H. Maldasena \cite{Maldacena:1998im} un R. Maijersa \cite{Myers:1999ps} darbos tiek analizēti dažādi ekstremālie atrisinājumi, dotajā darbā sākumā tiek analizēta D3 zondes brānas ekstremālā konstrukcija $ AdS_{5} \times S^{5} $ telpā. Nākamajā posma šī ģeometrija tiek deformēta ieviešot metrikā melnos faktorus, kas arī attīsta notikuma horizonta jēdzienu (melnā brāna) un noved pie problēmas galīgo temperatūras atrisinājumu eksistenci un to interpretācijas. L’articolo traccia un quadro nel quale le fasi successive dell’architettura della città europea del Novecento si leggono attraverso il rapporto fra il pedone e la strada, e pone l’ipotesi che la condizione contemporanea di tale rapporto sia l’aggiornamento di un tema indicatore dell’evoluzione del ruolo della maglia viaria. Abstract Zollinger-Ellison syndrome is an often progressive, persistent and frequently life-threatening disease, described for the first time as characterized by ulceration of the upper jejunum, hypersecretion of gastric acid and non-beta islet cell tumors of the pancreas; this syndrome is due to the hypersecretion of gastrin. We report a case of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome presenting as severe esophagitis evolving in stenosis, which demonstrates how a delayed diagnosis may induce risk of disease spreading. The essay deals with safeguarding the right to a healthy environment in the Italian and English systems, especially for the individuals affected by emissions that corrupt the air quality interfering with their private and family life. The study focuses on the injunction, as a non-compensatory remedy, actionable before the English courts by claimants seeking the decontamination of the polluted areas. The insight into the foreign environmental law will provide a new perspective on the Italian one that (as the European Court of Human Rights stated in the Cordella case) does not secure everyone an effective remedy to the violation of their environmental human right.

Lo studio, dopo una breve biografia aggiornata di Jean Carondelet, importante colto ecclesiastico e politico fiammingo, che fu anche arcivescovo di Palermo dal 1520 al 1544, ne indaga la committenza artistica (vetrate istoriate, paramenti sacri ricamati, stalli corali lignei intagliati, manoscritti liturgici miniati, dipinti, sculture marmoree) tra Franca Contea, Paesi Bassi borgognoni e la stessa Palermo, col supporto di un'inedito testamento secondo cui egli avrebbe donato già in vita "vestimenta seu ornamenta ecclesiastica" di grande valore alla cattedrale palermitana, tra cui forse la mitria e il paliotto già tradizionalmente identificati col suo cognome.
