Physical activity (PA) is an important health-promoting behavior from which adolescents with long-term illnesses or disabilities (LTID) can benefit. It is important to monitor differences across countries in adherence with PA recommendations for health. Objectives: To describe the frequency of brushing teeth and cleaning of dentures, performed by caregivers, for institutionalized elderly people. Methods: A cross-sectional study in a sample of 196 caregivers of 31 health centers in Barcelona. The dependent variables were frequency of dental brushing and frequency of cleaning of dentures of the elderly by caregivers. Objetivo: El objetivo de este estudio fue determinar la prevalencia de satisfacción laboral en una muestra de pediatras. Pacientes y Método: La muestra la formaron 123 pediatras que trabajaban en Servicios de Pediatría de hospitales generales, 89 mujeres (72,4%) y 34 hombres (27,6%). El estudio fue transversal, no aleatorizado. La satisfacción laboral se evaluó mediante una escala de 8 ítems del Cuestionario de Satisfacción laboral S20/23¹. Eine Vielzahl an Studien belegen, dass festsitzende kieferorthopadische Behandlungsmasnahmen (Multiband- oder Multibracket-Apparaturen) eine temporare Verschlechterung der Mundhygiene mit entsprechenden entzundlich bedingten Gingivaveranderungen hervorrufen konnen. Optimale Mundhygienemasnahmen und Anderungen der Ernahrungsgewohnheiten sind wesentliche Faktoren, um parodontale Entzundungen bei festsitzenden kieferorthopadischen (KFO-) Apparaturen zu vermeiden.
