Crystal structures of organoplatinum complexes containing alkyleugenoxyacetate and p-chloroaniline
2016
In the title trans-dichloridoplatinum(II) complexes, the central PtII atom is further coordinated by the p-chloroaniline N atom and ethylenic double bond of alkyleugenoxyacetate.
Bis{3,5-di-tert-butyl-N-[(4-dimethylamino)phenyl]salicylaldiminato}cobalt(II)
2017
In the title complex [systematic name: bis(2,4-di-tert-butyl-6-{N-[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]carboximidoyl}phenolato)cobalt(II)], [Co(C23H31N2O)2], the cobalt(II) atom is coordinated by pairs of O and N atoms in a distorted tetrahedral coordination geometry. The dihedral angles formed by the aromatic rings of the same ligand are 51.99 (11) and 36.58 (9)°. The molecular conformation features weak intramolecular C—H...O hydrogen bonds. In the crystal, inversion-related pairs of complex molecules are linked into dimers by weak C—H...π interactions. The methyl C atoms oftert-butyl groups have rotational disorder, with site occupancies of 0.647 (7) and 0.617 (6) for the major components and 0.353 …
{Bis[2-(diisopropylphosphanyl)ethyl]amine}carbonyl(tetrahydroborato)cobalt(I)
2018
In the structure of title borohydride pincer complex, [Co(BH4)(C16H37NP2)(CO)], the cobalt(I) metal exhibits a distorted square-pyramidal coordination geometry with the basal positions occupied by the P and N atoms of the tridentate ligand and by the C atom of the carbon monoxide ligand. In the crystal, molecules interact only by van der Waals forces.
Ferro- and Antiferromagnetic Interactions in Oxalato-Centered Inverse Hexanuclear and Chain Copper(II) Complexes with Pyrazole Derivatives.
2021
Two novel copper(II) complexes of formulas {[Cu(4-Hmpz)4][Cu(4-Hmpz)2(µ3-ox-κ2O1,O2:κO2′:κO1′)(ClO4)2]}n (1) and {[Cu(3,4,5-Htmpz)4]2[Cu(3,4,5-Htmpz)2(µ3-ox-κ2O1,O2:κO2′:κO1′)(H2O)(ClO4)]2[Cu2(3,4,5-Htmpz)4(µ-ox-κ2O1,O2:κ2O2′,O1′)]}(ClO4)4·6H2O (2) have been obtained by using 4-methyl-1H-pyrazole (4-Hmpz) and 3,4,5-trimethyl-1H-pyrazole (3,4,5-Htmpz) as terminal ligands and oxalate (ox) as the polyatomic inverse coordination center. The crystal structure of 1 consists of perchlorate counteranions and cationic copper(II) chains with alternating bis(pyrazole)(µ3-κ2O1,O2:κO2′:κO1′-oxalato)copper(II) and tetrakis(pyrazole)copper(II) fragments. The crystal structure of 2 is made up of perchlorat…
Crystal structure of catena-poly[[[(2-ethoxypyrazine-κN)copper(I)]-di-μ2-cyanido] [copper(I)-μ2-cyanido]]
2019
The title compound, {[Cu(EtOpz)(CN)2][CuCN]}n, where EtOpz is 2-ethoxypyrazine, is a two-dimensional polymeric copper complex with different coordination environments of the two CuI ions. One Cu atom is coordinated to the 2-ethoxypyrazine molecule and two bridging cyanide ligands, equally disordered over two sites. The second Cu atom is coordinated by two disordered over two sites bridging cyanide groups. Two copper–cyanide chains are connected through Cu⋯Cu contact.
Crystal structures of three mercury(II) complexes [HgCl2L] where L is a bidentate chiral imine ligand
2015
Three complexes synthesized by coordination of chiral imines to HgCl2 have been characterized, in which the tetrahedral HgII centre has a geometry strongly distorted towards the disphenoidal geometry.
The methanol sesquisolvate of sodium naproxen
2018
A new solvatomorph of sodium naproxen with methanol as solvent is reported. The asymmetric unit comprises two formula units of sodium naproxen and three methanol molecules.
Crystal structure of bis(cyclohexylammonium) diphenyldioxalatostannate(IV)
2015
In the title salt, (CyNH3)2[Sn(Ph2)(C2O4)2] (Cy is cyclohexyl and Ph is phenyl), the SnPh2 moiety is chelated by two oxalate anions, leading to a cis arrangement within the distorted octahedral coordination sphere of the SnIV atom.
Crystal structure of bis[2,5-bis(pyridin-2-yl)-1,3,4-thiadiazole-κ2N2,N3]bis(thiocyanato-κS)copper(II)
2016
The structure of the title compound is similar to that of the related complexes [Co(C12H8N4S)2(N3)2] and [Ni(C12H8N4S)2(N3)2] in which the azide ion is substituted by the thiocyanate group. The CuN4S2 octahedron is more distorted than the CoN6 and NiN6 octahedra.
Crystal structure of a rare trigonal bipyramidal titanium(IV) coordination complex: trichlorido(3,3′-di-tert-butyl-2′-hydroxy-5,5′,6,6′-tetramethyl-1…
2017
The title compound, [Ti(C24H33O2)Cl3(C4H8O)], is a rare example of a trigonal–bipyramidal titanium coordination complex with three chloride and two oxygen donor ligands. The asymmetric unit contains two independent molecules having essentially the same conformation. The molecules feature the titanium(IV) metal cation complexed with three chloride ligands, a tetrahydrofuran molecule, and one oxygen atom from the resolved ligand precursor (R)-(+)-5,5′,6,6′-tetramethyl-3,3′-di-t-butyl-1,1′-biphenyl-2,2′-diol, where the remaining phenolic hydrogen atom engages in intermolecular O—H...Cl hydrogen bonding. In one molecule, the THF ligand is disordered over two orientations with refined site occup…
