Estudi exploratori comparatiu del coneixement didàctic del contingut sobre piles galvàniques de professors de secundària en exercici i en formació

En este estudio exploratorio se evalúa el conocimiento didáctico del contenido (CDC) sobre pilas galvánicas de profesores de secundaria en formación y en ejercicio. Además, este conocimiento se ha relacionado con los enfoques de enseñanza que prefieren. Para este propósito, se ha adaptado el instrumento CoRe de Loughran, Mulhall y Berry (2004) considerando dos situaciones: pila Daniell y pila voltaica simple. La muestra se compuso de 25 profesores en formación y de 15 profesores en ejercicio. Influence of Content Knowledge on Pedagogical Content Knowledge: The case of teaching photosynthesis and plant growth

International audience; Abstract The aim of the research was to investigate the effect of the amount and quality of content knowledge on pedagogical content knowledge (PCK). The biological content photosynthesis and plant growth was used as an example. The research sample consisted of 10 primary and 10 secondary (biology) teacher students. Questionnaires, lesson preparation task and an interview were used to collect data. Primary student teachers' were not aware of students' conceptual difficulties and had problems in choosing the most important content. Abstract Adult students with experiences of teaching have often certain views about good teaching and a teacher. One of the most important roles in teacher education is to support future teachers to develop their pedagogical thinking systematically. Teacher's pedagogical thinking comes up in her/his actions and reflections on the teaching and learning situations. This article is based on research project which aims at to find out pre-service teachers’ progress in pedagogical thinking during three different practicums in Adult Teacher Education Program. The article will describe this thinking process during the first practicum which is carried out after three months studying.

The integration of Information and communication technologies (ICT) requires the teachers to be competent, both technologically and pedagogically. In this work, the competences in ICT of teachers are studied, in particular the relationship between the technological competences and the pedagogical competences. For it, it has been used a survey design and a sample, randomly selected, of the non university teachers of the Comunidad Valenciana, to those that have been applied a questionnaire. Comparing the Effect Size of School Level Support on Teachers’ Technology Integration

Teachers are expected to lead the innovative use of Information Communication and Technology (ICT) at the classroom level of context. However, research literature shows that a number of factors influence their ICT pedagogical practices. Therefore, the present study investigates the influence of school level support on teacher educators’ technology integration. A mixed method is used to collect data through three focused interviews (N = 19) and self-completion survey (N = 136). The data collected is analysed both qualitatively and quantitatively.
