This review is inspired by the publication of the first three issues of the new series of magazine «Moderni e Antichi. The aim of this paper is to study the lubricant capacity of Compritol HD5 ATO, a glyceryl and polyethylene glycol dibehenate, obtained by atomization. This material is compared to Compritol 888 ATO, constituted only by glyceryl dibehenate. First, this study verifies that Compritol HD5 ATO and Compritol 888 ATO present the same granular characteristics and that their mixes with Lactopress present no structural differences. Secondly, in term of compressibility and cohesiveness, the use of Compritol 888 ATO or Compritol HD5 ATO with Lactopress does not involve any significant modification. Arrays of circular spots of glucose oxidase have been obtained on functionalized silicon oxide by piezoelectric inkjet printing and the enzymatic activity toward glucose recognition has been monitored. The addition of glycerol to the molecular ink allows to obtain high spot definition and resolution (tens of micrometers wide; one molecule tall), but in spite of its well-known structural stabilizing properties, in dynamic conditions it may lead to increased protein stresses. Spontānas intracerebrālas hematomas sastāda 15% no visiem insultiem pieaugušo vecumā, bet šīs pataloģijas letalitāte pirmā mēneša laikā atbilst 40%. Pēdējās vadlīnijas (2015. gada) saglabājas daudz neskaidru jautājumu par optimālo terapiju, izvēles taktiku intracerebrālas hematomas ārstēšanā. Pētījuma mērķis: uzlabot pacientu stāvokļa novērtēšanu un attiecīgās ārstēšanas pielāgošanu pacientiem. Pētījuma rezultāti: Funkcionālais iznākums korelē ar GKS(r=0,5), spontānas intracerebrālas hematomas tilpumu (r=0,4) un smadzeņu viduslīnijas dislokācija (r=0,3). Pētījums veikts ar mērķi veikt Eirāzijas cietumu kapelānu situācijas analīzi, lai sekmīgi apzinātu cietuma kapelānu vajadzības gan pašreizējā, gan turpmākajā attīstības posmā. Darbības pētījumā tika izmantoti mērķu-orientētas projekta plānošanas un loģiskās struktūras pieejas koncepti un iesaistīti dalībnieki no sešiem Eirāzijas reģioniem. Darba pētījumā tika pielietotas šādas datu vākšanas metodes - intervija, dienasgrāmatu piezīmes, anketēšana, dokumentu analīze, kā arī veikta ieinteresēto personu (cietuma kapelānu) un problēmu tabulas analīze. Effect of CYP3A5*3 on kidney transplant recipients treated with tacrolimus: a systematic review and meta-analysis of observational studies

The highly variable pharmacokinetics of tacrolimus can hamper the optimal management of kidney transplant patients. This variability has been attributed to the genetic polymorphism of CYP3A5 6986A>G, but the evidence is not clear. We conducted a meta-analysis of studies evaluating the effect of CYP3A5 polymorphism on kidney transplant recipients with tacrolimus plasma concentration divided by daily dose per body weight (C/D) and clinical outcomes. We searched in MEDLINE and EMBASE.
