Diplomdarba autore ir strādājusi par angļu valodas skolotāju astoņus gadus. Gramatika vienmēr ir sagādājusi grūtības daudziem viņas skolēniem. Daļai no viņiem nepatīk darbības vārdu formas, dažus skolēnus neinteresē lielo burtu lietojums, prievārdi vai frazālie darbības vārdi, bet citiem grūtības sagādā laiki un vārdu kārtība teikumā. Var būt dažādi iemesli, kāpēc skolēniem nepatīk angļu valodas gramatika. Nav šaubu, ka daži no viņiem vienkārši negrib mācīties. The peculiar aspect that emerges from the study of Orchidaceae is the presence of various molecules, which are particularly interesting for pharmaceutical chemistry due to their wide range of biological resources. The aim of our study was to investigate the properties of two dihydrophenanthrenes, isolated, for the first time, from Himantoglossum robertianum (Loisel.) P. Delforge (Orchidaceae) bulbs and roots. Chemical and spectroscopic study of the bulbs and roots of Himantoglossumrobertianum (Loisel.) P. This article discusses the potential of multidisciplinary peer-mentoring groups to facilitate individual and institutional change. To do this, we view peer mentoring as a form of critical education praxis (Mahon et al. 2019), the purpose of which is to create a space for reflexive thinking and asking critical questions. Fine-tuning lexical bundles : a methodological reflection in the context of describing drug-drug interactions

This chapter has two major aims. First, it attempts to extend earlier research on recurrent phraseologies used in the pharmaceutical field (Grabowski 2015) by exploring the use, distribution and functions of lexical bundles found in English texts describing drug-drug interactions. Conducted from an applied perspective, the study uses 300 text samples extracted from DrugDDI Corpus originally collected in the Drugbank database (Segura-Bedmar et al. 2010). Šis darbs pēta dziesmu tulkošanu, par piemēru ņemot „Disney” animācijas filmas „Ledus sirds” („Frozen”, 2013) dziesmu tulkojumus no angļu valodas latviešu, krievu un franču valodā. Šī darba mērķis ir izpētīt un aprakstīt tulkošanas stratēģijas un dziesmu tulkojumu īpatnības, novērtējot tos pēc novirzes no oriģināla. Tiek novērota tulkošanas teoriju izpausme praksē, lietojot salīdzinošo analīzi, kas balstās uz P. Lova „pentatlona metodi” (2005) un E.
