Everyone who acquires a new language at school or elsewhere has the right to learn good pronunciation. As phonetic errors are foreseeable, this paper begins by delineating deviations in (co)articulation and prosody which are typical of Italian learners of German, with the aim of examining how far these specific, predictable phonetic problems are treated in German textbooks used in Italy. This paper aims to contribute to the study of translation or omission of operadores and conectores in Italian and Spanish written discourse, through the analysis of a corpus extracted from the bilingual magazine Legioni e Falangi/Legiones y Falanges. A partire dalla traduzione del Mon Faust di Valéry realizzata da Antonio Lavieri per il Meridiano Mondadori (a cura di M. T. Giaveri, Milano 2014), il contributo analizza le strategie traduttive messe in atto dall’autore nella resa italiana del testo teatrale. A partire da una riflessione sulle possibilità di una traduzione multimodale del discorso teatrale nell’ecologia dello spazio e dell’azione drammatica, tali strategie privilegiano i parametri della recitabilità del senso, e della sua performatività.

Oggetto del presente articolo è la traduzione di Giovanni Bonalumi della poesia Spring di G.M. Hopkins, compiuta nel 1949. Se ne analizzano stilemi e tecniche in rapporto al testo originale, provando a instaurare un legame tra questi e l’ambiente poetico e traduttivo di lingua italiana degli anni Quaranta. Attraverso il raffronto con un rifacimento successivo si confermano alcune linee guida profonde della traduzione.

Si propone un raffronto tra strutture a verbo supporto, nel dominio della proposizione, e strutture a determinante nominale complesso, nel dominio del sintagma nominale. Per entrambi i tipi di struttura si avanza l'ipotesi che la testa sintattica non sia quella tradizionalmente riconosciuta e si suggerisce quali siano i punti di partenza ai fini della traduzione automatica.
