Aim of this paper is the preliminary design of an harmless fixed-wing unmanned Aerial System. To improve application fields, endurance has been selected as fundamental performance and the blended wing configuration has been chosen. So the fuselage has the same airfoil of the wing and contains all the payload. In this way the drag has been reduced. Because of the blended wing arrangement, to control pitch and roll elevons have been introduced. To guarantee the directional stability, winglets have been used; besides winglets increase the equivalent aspect ratio and consequently reduce the drag and improve the endurance. Abstract A borrowing hydrogen reaction with different diols was employed for the preparation of complex beta- gamma- or epsilon-amino alcohols from p-toluidine and tetrahydroquinoline with the aim of better understanding the applicability of the Pd/C ZnO heterogeneous catalyst.

The contribution due to beer in the diet is considered in the light of the recommended daily intake of chromium.

Prognostic Relevance of CCN3 in Bone Sarcomas

Osteosarcomas and Ewing’s sarcoma (EWS) are aggressive malignant bone tumors. In both cases, prognostic markers are lacking. Presently, only clinical features are widely accepted as prognostic indicators. In this study we assessed the prognostic value of CCN3 (Nov), a matricellular protein that belong to the CCN family of regulatory proteins, whose members were shown to play crucial roles in bone formation. In osteosarcomas, CCN3 expression levels represent a useful tool to early identification of patients with different prognosis. Cette note concerne l’exceptionnelle plaque-boucle au Christ cavalier de l’Apocalypse découverte à Ladoix-Serrigny et étudiée précédemment dans cette revue. Son objectif est de discuter l’hypothèse récemment émise selon laquelle saint Landelin, qui a vécu au VIIe siècle dans le nord de la Gaule, serait Landelinus, l’auteur de cet objet. Plusieurs arguments militent en faveur de cette interprétation qui nous paraît donc plausible, même si elle reste fragile. The claw crane—an arcade game that invites its players to remotely grab a prize with a “claw”—has undergone a long process of development from an eye-catching “steam shovel” to a calculated gambling machine across amusement arcades, train stations, and traveling carnivals. Recently, the claw crane has become a common transmedia object in various consumer outlets around the world, serving today’s “kidults” who are willing to play and be playful with toys as grownups.
